This part replaced a 28-year-old original part on my ‘96 Ford Bronco. It took about 15 minutes to install. Like doing anything under the dash or instrument panel, it’s kind of difficult to get to, but the part fits perfectly and is an exact duplicate of the original part…and works as it’s supposed to work! I’d give it 6 stars if I could ; )

A slightly pricey replacemnt for an OEM switch.This is a switch for a paring brake on a large Ford. It fixed the problem.Thanks for reading.

A simple way to figure out if the old switch is the problem is disconnecting the wire from the switch, and connecting a wire (from the end of the wire that's for the switch) to a bare piece of metal on the truck. If the brake light comes on, on the instrument cluster, the switch is the problem. If not, most likely the switch is not bad.
