Changed the ignition coil, plugs and plug wires in my 2000 Ford F150 with 131,000 miles. First time change and truck was idling and running pretty rough---as you can imagine. Installation of the coil was SIMPLE and quick. Plugs and wires took about an hour and a half without rushing. Since I changed multiple components, I can't say that the ignition coil was the primary problem. The plugs and wires probably made the biggest difference but the end result is an exceptional running truck that is now getting 18mpg rather than 12mpg.

Perfect fit. Fixed miss in engine cylinder #2. 1998 Sable runs great. Half of Advance Auto $99 price. Made in USA. Standard Motor Products have always been top quality in my experience. About 4 days to deliver, standard delivery. No problem (car was drivable).

Works every bit as good as the OEM Motocraft coil pack at a fraction of the price, don't forget to remove the old rubber gasket around the old pigtail connector, if you don't, the connector won't seat properly and you'll end up broke down on the side of the road saying bad words and trying to figure out why your truck started running on 2-3 cylinders, speaking from experience.

Works in my 2000 V6 mustang. Did this with new sparks and plugs. Purrs like a kitten.
