Exactly appears as OEM part did, including vacuum lines/harness. Definitely switches better now (my mode select was worn out)....SMP has always been good for me over some other brands...backlighting is good (when headlights on)..time will tell on longevity but I expect to get same as OEM out of it (15+ years)

Fixed all my issues. Screw jeep for making the 04-06 twice the cost of of the earlier TJs.

Bought control head in Aug.22 over spring ac would not blow to vents on throttle. Ran vac. And smoke test on hvac system. Found hvac head leaks internally, which to vent on throttle. Standard motor products would not stand behind their product.

Item works as advertised however this is one of the more expensive items I've had to purchase for my 2003 Jeep TJ.

The fan switch in my '06 TJ died and I purchased this to replace it. It's been 3-4 months since I have installed it and at first it was perfect! As time goes on the knobs do not have the same tactile feel they did when I first installed them. The first month so so the knobs snapped into position just like OEM, the temp control had some feedback as you tuned it. Now, the knobs are much more sloppy in their turning and I'm not always entirely sure which setting is selected without actually looking down at it to see where it is pointed. That being said, it still does work and hasn't failed yet.

Exact replacement for factory panel, and the vaccum lines were the correct length, unlike similair parts from other manufacturers. Worked well.

Just like the OEM unit, super easy to install, test it before putting the dash back together just in case. Works great so far.
