I watched a YouTube video on how to install this switch in my 2010 Toyota Corolla. It was an easy 30 minute job. Buying this part and installing it myself saved me well over a hundred dollars since I didn't have to go to the dealership. I used a 10 mm spanner wrench to remove the four radio screws. The top left screw was the toughest since my spanner kept hitting the steering wheel, so I didn't put that one back on. It's fine with the three other screws in place. I don't have a reversible drill with a 10 mm attachment, which would have made it easier. This seems to be a common issue in the Corolla, and I'm very grateful Amazon sells this part!

Worked perfect for my 2009 Toyota Corolla LE. I now have speeds 1,2, and 3 versus the previous broken switch that only worked one 4! The orange backlight it a little brighter than the stock ones, but that might be due to age of the car. Works great!!

Product worked perfectly. Would definitely buy my products from these guys. Fan motor was stuck in high position and Toyota wanted $400 to replace. Got the part did it myself saved myself $300.

Easy to replace item. A little pricey considering what it is but completely necessary as the summer heat picks up.

I had an incident where the air conditioning in my Corolla would not turn off when you move the fan switch to "0"; it would stay on full blast no matter where you put it to. My first inclination was that this switch had gone bad and the only reason I deduced this was that a few years ago the lights had already went out on it. It only made sense that the entire thing must've failed. So, I ordered one on Amazon, and even with Prime it took a bit longer to arrive than usual but it did arrive on time. Looked up on YouTube on how to do the fix, if possible, and sure enough someone else had the same exact issue I did and did a step-by-step video on how to get to it and replace it. Getting to anything inside the dashboard is a royal pain in the ass but strangely enough getting to this wasn't nearly as bad as I anticipated. Granted I broke a few clips for the side panels but that was bound to happen.Getting the original part out was a breeze and so was snapping in the new one. Did a quick test before putting everything back together and found that the new knob works and the fan/blower is now working as it should!Fun fact... when I still had the broken one in the car, I still had several long distance trips to do. Typically on the highway I can get 36+ mpg and sometimes as high as 42 mpg but with the fan blowing on the highest setting I was BARELY getting 31 mpg. I've done one trip since the fix and my average was back at 37 mpg!
