This ignition amplifier is normally used on GM vehicles from the mid 70s to mid 80s , but can be used on other vehicles if properly wired. In my case it is actually a direct replacement for the amplifier inside the ignition control box for series 3 Jaguar Xj6 (81-87). This Standard Motor Parts is a quality unit that works perfectly at a very reasonable price.
