The paper that comes with it is hard to follow. The side with three wire goes towards the locking clip on 7 wire plug

Perfect fit for my 94 F150 4.9 with the E4od transmission. The last one I purchased lasted around 5 years. Just installed another one about 4 months ago. No problem so far. Hard shifting is gone. No more going into neutral at 60+ mph

Installing this switch on original equipment Ford requires that the connector on the existing wiring harness that connects to the switch be replaced. The connector is included with this neutral safety switch. Instructions on how to replace the switch or vague. It requires thatthe center colored pin separator be gently Pride out of the connector using a small jeweler's screwdriver. Once removed, from the face side of the connector insert jeweler's screwdriver and gently pry up on the locks that hold the pins in the connector. The small plastic locks are "back to back" along the centerline of the connector. Once I figured all this out it took 10min to swap out the connector. The switch itself bolted right on with no issues. It fixed the intermittent fail to crank problem the truck was experiencing.

Only thing annoying is there are 2 pinouts for this plug , pin 5 white pink, atleast for the other review i saw was the wrong pinout if you have this color wire. 95 f150. Once found the write pinout and depined the old plug it went together just as intended

Bummed out that this product is not working properly. It is adjusted properly but vehicle won’t start in park. You have to shift veh to neutral to get it to crank. Haven’t had it installed very long, 2 months if that. Return window has closed. I figured Standard parts were better then that?
