Bought this as a Mopar sensor is at least double the price but decided to take a chance. I've had it in for 1.5 months (2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited with 4.7L V8) and she's been driving fine, no engine stalling, no shudders, no CEL. I changed out the TPS, IAC and PCV at the same time so not 100% sure that this part is what solved my issues to the aforementioned symptoms but pretty confident as the CEL code was for MAP sensor and it has not reappeared...yet. I'll update if anything changes.

Drilled out rivets in Dodge Caravan to remove. No replacement rivets were supplied but had some on hand so not an issue for me. Cleaned surface and put thermal grease on back of relay before reinstall to improve thermal conductivity to chasis. Perfect fit. Fans now work so all is good.

This item was a direct OEM replacement. Installed perfectly and got my electric radiator fan functioning again. You can't beat the price either. I will update this review if I run into problems.Just a quick note. I did some light research and found out that the company that manufactures this relay also makes BWD branded relays sold at certain parts stores. So take that how you will.

Works exactly as described. Unfortunately it is in a completely ridiculous place to repair held in by machine screws. I used a hole saw to cut into the bumper plastic beneath the passenger side head lamp. Swapped the part out and just RTV'd the hole back in place. Can't see it so who cares. Saved me cost in consumable plastic rivets etc... doing it the "proper" way.

I have a 2003 Grand Cherokee 4.0 l6. I choose to purchase this relay for 3 reasons. 1) my jeep was overheating during stop and go traffic. Temp was rising from 195ish to about 230-240. I noticed the electric fan wasn't kicking on so I wired it to the battery to check it still worked. It does so I decided It must be the relay. 2) I read the reviews and one then stayed how standard motor makes BWD relays. I looked into it verified that info 3) advance and orielly sell them from $60 to $75 Amazon had it up for $9.99. I said to hell with it for $10 if I don't work oh well. But sure enough it worked! Took the jeep for my normal 45 min drive thru stop and traffic and it never once raised above 210 even with the a.c. on full blast (just to make sure the fan was kicking on). All in all I'm very satisfied with this product and to have this for $10 to not have the BWD name on it is well worth the $50 i saved. Thank you Amazon and thank you standard motor products

Replaced this by removing the front passenger head light and then cutting a hole through the plastic in order to access the existing fan motor relay.The Standard Motor Product fits in perfectly and connects properly to the wiring harness. Removed the "check engine" light from my dashboard.
