So my 1988 Dodge Dakota truck was having problems starting, and decided to continue to try to start even after the ignition was turned off and the key was removed. Let me just say I was a bit startled and worried at this point, since this caused the negative terminal on the battery to begin to overheat as more current was being drawn. Long story short, the starter relay had gone bad, and once I replaced it everything went back to normal. So if you ever have a problem like this, replacing the relay should fix the problem. :-)

The part works as it should so I give it three stars but it doesn’t arrive prime delivery. It had been a week before it arrived. I could’ve gotten it from a parts store next day for a little bit more but didn’t think it’d take so long to arrive
