Hello, I have a very driven 3 year old German Shepherd Dog that loves balls and discs. We have tried over 20 different discs and this one fits the bill better than all the rest. We actually prefer the 9" model as it is easier to swim, this review is for both sizes.Pros:Floats high in the waterEasy to throw, even for non-frisbee folks we meet at the beach or park.Durable! Rainan is a chewer, yet 3 discs last 2 months! We do a thing where three discs are involved. Through Amazon our disc budget comes to 50 cents a day.soft on the teeth when catching direct shots! Some discs are rock hard -very bad.This disc flies really well as compared to all the floppy discs that throw like an inner tube or the ones that don't float in the air (fabric discs or hard heavy discs).My dog, and the dogs we meet, seem to really like the mouth feel. This is important.CONS:Not Totally durable. I can't leave the disc with my dog. and it wears out...This disc sometimes bounces off his mouth. When throwing to a human I noticed this as it often bounces off your hand.You can't choose colors. Yellow is best in low light, but looks trashed quickest.I would like to see more dogs out there getting solid exercise. The name is too long and not easy to remember. I know it but people don't. I am often ask "What was the name of that toy". The company name is first, StarMark. Which is a cool name but describes nothing useful. Then merged after is the model, Easy Glider. Four names are not good for word of mouth sales. Or is it Duraform StarMark Easy Glider? Ha I have to tell people to go to amazon and search Easy Glider or Star Mark. Then look for the product that looks like this. Oh yea it might say DURAFORM in bold print but don't search for Durafoam.. that's what is is made of?? Everything else is what we liike!!Great disc! I am a disc advocate as compared to throwing a ball. With a ball you can do just about one thing, that is, throw in one direction and the dog chases in one direction. With a nice disc, such as this one, you can float it so it lands just where you know your dog can catch. Or just go really far. Rainan looves the "rabbit run throw" where you turn an overhand throw vertical and the disc rolls and jumps, he snags it on the run. When he returns I shoot another and he catches it. Then another.A disc is so much more interesting than a ball. For the human too! You both get better and better.Using more than one disc is also more mind stimulating.Thanks dog lovers!Raindog

My Dog Disc budget is out of control! The SuperHero 235 is now $18. Buying them in bulk to keep my land-sharks entertained is painfully expensive and laborious. I use a fine nail grinder to polish out the snags and burrs to extend their life as long as possible but eventually (Enter the DuraFoam Disc! We've had four sessions with these discs and no bloody mouths. They are holding up surprisingly well. They get punctures and bite marks but the foam springs back so no grinding or polishing needed. They also fly astonishingly well. Good distance and hang time. They don't fly as far as I can blast a SuperHero but they go far enough for a casual session. I recommend washing all dog discs after a session but especially the DuraFoam. The nasty alien slobber will warp and deteriorate this disc and who knows about bacteria colonizing the tooth punctures. Just wash them with warm soapy water, Dry them with a towel and lay them flat to dry. They are flat and ready for the next session.This disc is a bit more difficult for the dog to pick-up after a missed launch so I recommend avoiding hard surfaces. Find a plush grassy field where your pooch can get his lower jaw under the disc. I plan to use the DuraFoam for the casual stuff and reserve the SuperHero for serious sessions and hopefully save a some money and damage to my dogs' mouths. The fact that I'm even comparing the DuraFoam to the SuperHero says a lot about the DuraFoam. I'm impressed enough to write a few hundred words about a $15 foam dog toy!. Yup!On a final note, I never let my GSDs keep their discs. They are not chew toys or house toys

I am SO happy to have tried out this Easy Glider. We've been through a lot of frisbees both before and after trying this one; several have been good but none top this one. Some were too hard rubber or too hard for the dog to pick up off the ground (Kong flyer), others shredded too quickly (pretty much all ones that had any sort of fabric, but especially flip floppy one).I'm on my 2nd easy glider in 2 years, and it's holding up well. It's our beach toy, and friends will actually recognize me and my dog when they see this bright yellow frisbee flying through the air. It's easy to throw, my dog LOVES catching it in the air (she's getting pretty good), and I'm learning how to throw it against the hard winds and still get some distance out of it. It floats, it doesn't get heavy or soggy, it's easy for the dog to pick up off sand or out of water, and it lasts.I will add disclaimer that my dog does not destroy or shred toys. We do play tug with this toy, and she does love to shake it around after catching it, so I don't know if I'd call her 'gentle' with toys, but her toys do tend to last forever. This toy has a million bite marks, and eventually the frisbee starts pulling apart at the outside edge, but the last one took about 13 months to start falling apart and we have about 9 months on the current one.One thing is that this toy is very light, so catches the wind easily. For that reason I can't use it in the yard, as too often it catches an odd current and ends up over the wall at the neighbor's or stuck on a roof. What is a con at home is a serious pro at the beach, though!I'll probably keep experimenting with different frisbees just for novelty's sake, but I think we'll always have one of these around.

Auch wir sind mit dem Triple Crown sehr zufrieden - relativ gute Flugeigenschaften und unsinkbar, dabei stabil genug, um Zerrspiele mit zeitweilig bis zu 3 großen Hunden (30 kg +) auf einmal auszuhalten. Unser Labbi hat jedoch in nunmehr 2,5 Jahren etliche davon aufgebraucht, weil sie eben aus weichem Gummi sind und er sie nicht gerne für längere Flugpausen abgibt, sondern lieber selbst trägt, verbuddelt, kaut, usw. Wir sind jetzt bei Nummer 8 und Nummer 9 sollte demnächst bestellt werden.Bisher habe ich noch keine Alternative mit den gleichen Eigenschaften gefunden (maulfreundlich weich, fliegt gut, unsinkbar), die länger hält.Da alles, was wir bisher alternativ wirklich getestet haben, gegenüber diesem Produkt Nachteile hatte (Flug- und Schwimmeigenschaften, Material, sogar Haltbarkeit), kann ich nur volle 5 Sterne vergeben. Dass das Produkt leider nicht ewig hält und bei entsprechend entschlossenem Beißen und Reißen auch kaputt gehen kann, rechtfertigt keinen Punkteabzug.Nachtrag Dezember 2015: Vor 3 Jahren noch fast überall im Internet für unter 6 E zu haben, kostete der Artikel im Juli dieses Jahres bei Amazon 7,99 E (Versandkosten nur 0,- bei entsprechendem Gesamtbestellwert). Inzwischen werden nicht nur hier teilweise Fantasiepreise verlangt. Der günstigste Preis liegt bei Amazon bei knapp 11 E inkl. Versand (aus USA!). Zu teuer für ein Produkt, das (leider) nur begrenzt Haltbar ist und nicht repariert werden kann.Habe heute (9.12.15) anderswo das Frisbee in einem deutschen Shop für 5,35 E gefunden (mit Eingabe eines für jeden zugänglichen "Gutscheincodes"). Am Produkt selber können diese Preisunterschiede wohl nicht liegen, sondern eher an den Händlern. Daher immer noch kein Punkteabzug für das Produkt.

Repeated purchase for my shepherd dog over the years. He loves the disc. Most durable, easy to grip/throw disc compared to other named disc. But it does suffer wear and tear, about 6months daily usage. Soft bite for dog, minimal biting on tongue/slippage from mouth

Our German Shepard LOVES these frisbes!! They fly well, and dont hurt the dogs mouth or teeth when he jumps to catch it. It is very tough, and his previous one lasted over 3 years before he lost it. Our dog chews on the frisbe and he has never destroyed one. Highly recommend and would buy again.

Amazing toy for my dogs who both love it! It's light weight, extremely durable/chew proof, floats on water and can be thrown really far if you want to! 100% worth EVERY PENNY! I first bought this product about 4 years ago and I've only had to buy another one is because we lost the old one. One of the best purchases I've made for my dogs (a very energetic Springador and Siberian Husky)
