I started with the P3, moved to the Pi4 and have now ended with a Pi5. This time instead of buying everything separately, I just decided to get a kit that included everything. The kit lacks for nothing, everything you need to get going is included. Plenty of power, cooling, storage and of course the actual RPi5 itself.Setup was super simple, basically a few screws, insert the card and cables and boot up into the OS. Easy as pi.If I even had to find a complaint, it would be that I wish the power cable had an on/off switch.Overall, a fully complete kit and nothing more is needed to get going. The Raspberry Pi5 is nice and fast, such a huge improvement from where I started.

This is the easiest and fastest kit I've put together so far. I've done a bunch of Pi 4s. I've got one in my Behringer XR18 rack to record 16 tracks (via Ardour) during gigs and the rest scattered around the house as media clients. I used to buy Cana kits but this one is better and less expensive. I love the aluminum case. The instructions are in pictures and very few words but it's not a big problem. Once I got it put together it booted up and updated (after connecting to wifi, of course). All I had to do was make a couple of directories in the root directory and add two lines to the /etc/fstab file to mount my NFS partitions from my Linux media server. I'm only using this for a media client so the installed OS is fine for me. VLC is pre-installed as is the NFS client software. If you're a Windows geek I'm sure you can easily use SMB shares from a Windows server. I didn't look to see if Samba was pre-installed but if it's not it's easy to install.Also, when you're updating it asks if you want to switch from the normal Wayland compositor to a newer one. I went with the new one and had no problems.

This starter kit is great, comes with everything you need to start experimenting in your homelab! For me, I was able to set up the kit in less than 20 mins (make sure to peel the protective film off the heat pads before attaching to the device). After setting it up and connecting it to my network switch, I was able to get up and running pihole for ad blocking on my devices. So far its been 2 weeks and no issues and the pi remains at a cool 48 °C. Highly recommend!

The kit fit together well. The included instructions were not very detailed but looking carefully at the parts you can figure out how to assemble it. The little clear plastic piece fits nicely over the power switch and LED indicator and makes a good push button cover for the power switch. The included SD card (type A1) provides sub-optimal performance (minus 1 star) vs. the type A2 which is recommended for the RPI 5. Other kits I purchased included the type A2, so I was disappointed in receiving the lower performance SD card. Paint is very slightly missing from one corner (minus 1 star).Update: seller contacted me regarding their warranty, re the slight paint imperfection (1 star restored)

This product is excellent.. it was packed quite well and was in excellent shape. Extremely easy to put togather and came with all items that you need to run it right away. Very solid and sturdy once put togather. I highly recommend it!!!

Arrived on-time and in perfect condition. The box is compact and well organised. Everything is safely packaged. Very easy to put together, just be careful about your alignment of the active cooler as you don't get a second chance to have it line up with the holes for the pins. I had no problem looking directly down from above and slowly pressing it into place. No issues fitting the board into the case and the screw holes lined up perfectly, as did the ports with their respective holes in the side. Insert the micro SD card AFTER you install the board in the case to avoid damaging it. Installing it will be easy. The metal case in this kit is, in my opinion, sturdier and easier to deal with than the plastic case that came with my pi 3B+ (and I have no issues with that case either). All-in-all, a good purchase for me and I am quite happy with it! I am currently using it to brush up on my Linux command line knowledge and also learning Python 3 using Thonny (at the moment). Ultimately, I will integrate this into my home automation system currently being developed. I will also use the pi5 for a number of electronic experiments that I have planned. I will likely buy this again, and certainly recommend it. Thanks, and good job iRasptek!14EC2024 edit: I have been enjoying this kit quite a bit. As part of my home automation project (and weather project, air quality project, AI bird recognition project, etc. ...) I have been acquiring a lot of tech, including another Pi5 from a different vendor as I needed the SBC and nothing else. That Pi5 had an SDRAM failure and I returned it today. I think I will just buy another from iRasptek as that one has been chugging away without a hitch. I tend to stick with what, and who, works for me. Cheers!

Considering that it was the week before Christmas, the kit arrived within a few days of ordering it. I was truly surprised by the compact and precise packaging which aptly protected the product. Very easy to assemble with very precise finish, every component lined up beautifully and securely attached. Having the preloaded OS on the SD card made it super easy to make it operational. I bought this specifically on the recommendation of an acquaintance as a means of blocking ads through installing Pi-hole. Looking forward to that, but also to discovering other possibilities of this petit unit.

I really appreciate the quality of the enclosure as well as the cooling fan. The documentation and reference are concise and easy. I will be using my new kit mostly for software and hardware projects.
