I cannot believe how simple this actually was,!!! The local car stereo shop, sells remote starter kits for vehicles,... the lowest cost starting kit available was $450....!! Bought this kit from Amazon and the most complicated part of the whole deal is finding the plug wire, with the limited space available,...and trying to disconnect and reconnect the inline wiring harness......(NOT Hard, just tight space). So, after connecting the wires the programming was so simple it took 5 minutes and was done, starting and running functioning as normal Perfect 10 out of 10!!

Installing the OBD harness is alot easier if you remove the knee panel, only a couple pop clips. Works good with oem remote. Just make sure you set your heat and fan settings before you turn your car off the day before and if works great!

Bought this product for my wife’s 2014 Ford Fusion Hybrid SE, and it took me 7 minutes to complete install/program. 4 of the 10 minutes were spent trying to disconnect from OBD port due to very limited space. Once connected, it was a breeze to program, and hide wires using the provided zip ties. Would definitely recommend. Saw other review mentioning Ac/heat does not turn on, but if you set ahead of time, should be fine. Definitely a must have for those cold CO mornings.

Product was easy to install after removing the obd bolts. Downside is that it doesn't turn on the cars heater after starting. So the car is still cold after starting and letting warm up.

I was in the market to get a remote starter for my wife's 2017 Fusion since I'm a Ford Tech I was like well I just get one from the dealer with my discount and just install it myself. Somehow I stumbled across this kit and started looking into it and was intrigued. For the price it was I was like let's test the waters and see what comes of it. Sure enough they weren't lying this kit being a simple plug and play. Took me 10 minutes to install.Keep the basic key functionality, factory range, and no compromising of the factory alarm system.Only question I had was about if it would auto start the climate controls but it doesn't. So as long as you don't turn it off before you get out of the car everything will be running when you remote start it!100% recommend! Will be checking out other kits for friends and family vehicles. Good job Start-X!

This was a very easy installation and the remote start works great. Challenging to get the harness plugged into the OBD as the space is tight, but can be done without having to unmount the OBD connector. The kit comes with everything required including a pry tool and zip ties. Highly recommend.

The starter does work as expected on a 2014 Ford Fusion Hybrid. The lights do come on after starting. Install was easy. Managed to remove plug without undoing the nuts for the OBDC connection (the air bag was blocking the 2nd nut - was going to grind away some plastic, but it wasn't necessary). The setup worked as the instructions and video showed (was a link to video on the box). Will remain to be seen how long this will last, but overall satisfied for the price and zero installation cost.

Find a video for your vehicle and follow the directions. It was a little awkward getting under the dash but pretty easy overall, just make sure to watch a video for your specific vehicle as location varies. I bought the specific one for my Ford Fusion installed it myself and works great. Whatever distance that you can unlock your car is the distance from which you can start your car.

Was quoted $600 to install a simular device. Watched a video, followed the instructions in the box and about 10 minutes later it was installed and programed. Works great, operates like it came with the car.
