I'm very familiar with cars and install took me 10-15 minutes, running wires and plugging them into the main module. Everything comes included in the box, zip ties to an (optional) hood pin switch. There is a very helpful instructional video on YouTube and the written directions were easy to follow as well.The only thing that was not shown in the video however is the mounting location of the module, other than that I'm very pleased and happy with the purchase. Winters start ups will be a little easier now. Many thanks.

This unit installed easily and pretty quickly. Only problem I encountered was with the written programming instructions that came in the box. Tried programming twice and it wouldn't take. Used the online video and had it done in about 30 seconds.

Bought it for my 2015 RAV4, installation was incredibly easy with the help of instructions. Remote start function have work flawlessly for a year now, I now sold the car the new owner can enjoy it.

I have had nothing but problems with this remote start unit from Start X the 1st one failed right after installation and was replaced under warranty the second unit worked for two years and is now out of warranty and has malfunctioned and now only starts the car 10 % of the time, you cannot talk to anyone on the phone to help you trouble shoot the unit all contact must be done by e-mail and they take there time getting back to you then they want you to make a video to send them, after the unit malfunctioned my TPMS system also malfunction. so I have now removed this unit from my car and 400 dollars later my TPMS system is working and my car starts with the key every time, will never buy this junk again.

Took less than an hour to install after watching video from QR code. Most difficult connection was the BCM above the OBD2. The best way to find it is to lay in the floor and look up. Programming was very easy.

Just installed kit on 2016 RAV4 in about 30 mins and works great. Installed one on 2015 Nissan Frontier, 2 years ago and it’s still working great too. Remote start is a must have here in Canada in winter. Start-x installation videos show everything you need to know specific to the vehicle. Simple easy to follow programming instructions too.Update: I’ve added a Compustar RF kit (recommended by Start-x support) to extend the range

Very clean install all connections are OEM style plugs and overlay harness. I have installed several R/S over the years and kinda steered clear of them until now. Glad I chose this starter.

It works great! One slight problem with one of the connectors being broken right out of the box so had to tie it to the module with plastic tie strap. Time will tell if this unit continue to work well.
