I don’t normally write reviews, but I am so impressed with this safe I felt the need to. I did a lot of research before I narrowed it down to this safe and the Amsec wall safe. When I called Dean Safe to ask them the long list of questions I had, they did a great job in answering everything and making me feel confident in my decision before I finally bought the stealth wall safe. They aren’t kidding when they say the safe is heavy duty and I would definitely recommend that you have a professional install it. The door on the safe is super thick steel and looks very difficult to break into. I was a little nervous about the lock but it’s actually very easy to use. Arrived in perfect condition probably because of all the extra padding they had it in. I had my heart set on something that was made in the USA and got exactly what I wanted with this wall safe.If you’re thinking about getting a wall safe I’d say definitely do your research!! But I am very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend this wall safe! I will also consider buying more products in the future from both Stealth and Dean Safe!

I like the dial combination and not the push button which requires batteries, this safe is tough, real well designed opening latch, not fire proof but perfect is storing something other than dollars or paperwork.

Would be difficult to break into unless cut out of wall! May need two people to install because of weight.

Safe was delivered to me with a deep gouge on the door. It looks like it was painted over at the factory.Update: They refunded my money for the return and I bought another one and this one came without any damage.

I like that this safe was heavy, sturdy, made in America, and they had responsive customer support. It’s not anything fancy, it’s not fire rated, and just has a basic keypad and lever, but I knew that going in. Overall, I would say that it is just as described, with no major disappointments.

Don’t think mine has a fingerprint reader. No idea how to use it if it does.
