TLDR; They're great. At $12 it's a no-brainer.After six months of use, as my "second cut" nippers, I can say they make very clean cuts and the blades are still sharp. They're much sturdier than the $35 Tamiya clippers I got for Christmas that broke after a month of very light duty. I paid $12 and I really can't imagine the pricier nippers cutting any cleaner than these. In a hobby with a lot of overpriced, "premium" tools available, it was nice to have found a premium tool at a very reasonable price. If I had to list a con, it would be that the pleather cover for the pointy bits is really cheap, and flimsy, but it doesn't affect the nippers in any way.Definitely Recommended.

I love these nippers, they are the one's I primarily use. If you go straight for the 'clean' cut instead of doing the '2 cut method' it will fracture, but it won't be as noticeable compared to other nippers I have used. They get very close to the plastic that I am working on.The reason these are beginner friendly, because I am assuming you are not using two different pairs of nippers. One for the rack and one for the finished cut to the plastic. These are a great hybrid for being able to use for both the rack, and 'almost' a clean finish cut on the intended model piece. They are straight, are of great quality and after repeated use, still cut just like when I first got them (which is about 15 model kits ago, not sure of the actual time frame.).

Not as fragile as God hand, maybe not quite as sharp, but very nice nippers at this price point. I've paid as much for products not nearly as well made. If you want something close to the quality and effectiveness as the big brand, but at a fraction of the price, give these a try.

In going through many different style and types of of nippers and snipper over the years. I found these on a Black Friday Sale. They are a bit pricey without the holiday sales. I will say that despite the price these are the sharpest and easiest to use of any nipper I have encountered. The soft grips the double sided blade the springs on the handles all make these the peak in quality and functionality for my nippy needs. Probably need to buy several pairs on sale days.

I've been looking for a backup pair of nippers since my godhand pair are starting to show their age after a few years of use, and am happy to say that the Stedi MS-109 nippers have perfectly fit my needs.I went through a few of the ruitool nippers prior to this, but their shoddy quality control (and I'm sure my own bad luck) lead to me getting two different damaged nippers out of the box. I had just about resigned myself to spending another $55 on a new pair of godhand nippers until I notice the Stedi brand nippers in the suggested links after leaving a review on the others.I had recently purchased a set of glass files from Stedi about a week back and was very pleased with the quality so I figured I'd give their nippers a shot since they were in the same price point I was looking to spend. Boy am I glad that I did! These things are 1:1 just as good as my godhand pair the day I first got them, so a huge improvement over my worn pair today. The cut is very smooth and requires minimal pressure. There is a small amount of white discoloration for the cut, which is to be expected, but again this is on par with how my godhand pair originally cut when I first got them too so no complaints there.Overall, I'm very pleased with these nippers and plan to go ahead and start using them as my main now over my old pair.

PEOPLE ! dont use the TIP of your nippers to cut sprues use the back half of the blade for cutting sprue, and the tip for removing nubs. do not rock twist or rotate the nippers to get them unstuck from the sprue, pull straight out. for metal to be this thin and stay sharp it has to be brittle.the tip profile on the white for professionals is too wide on the block side to compensate for the extra thinness. just a tiny bit too wide for many cuts. but they worked great on all the easy edge nubs. i returned them.blue seems to last about 10 gundams before the cuts are noticeably harder to make.im on my 2nd set of blue and 24 gundams. going to try godhands next. the less wide tip is better even if the blade is thicker.my 1st sets blades are misaligned so the blade is lower then the block "but that's a good thing" said martha.it lets me get closer cuts on the side nubs. i may have done this by not checking the adjustment screw and squeezing to hard or letting my wife use them without mansplaining how... check your adjustment screws like it says. you should be able to slip a sheet of receipt paper ini defiantly recommend getting the blue for pros as your first nipper, then after 6 mg or 9 hg gundams get a 2nd pair or the godhand. use the old one specifically for sprue and the new for nubs. 2nd pair has lasted considerably longer sense i dont use it to cut sprue at all.if you get a pair with the blade lower then the block i would keep them and order a 2nd pair. its super convenient for certain nubs in the middle of parts or the nubs on the ends of nubs/post/ball joints.also, glass files are amazing.

purchased the expensive nipper called "Gods Hand", was not impressed, think they had a manufactures' defect. Got these and they work absolutely great. Only meant for delicate cutting of soft products.

Those nippers are quite sharp and easy to use. The pointy tips makes it easy to get a close cut and get to difficult to reach corners. While you get a clean cut, it isn't as close to the model as I would wish to. I thought those would save me clean up time, but I still need to spend time removing leftover nubs.

I'm new to model building and not sure how long I will be into it.This is the 3rd pair I've had. 1st I had for something else 2nd not good. 3rd well.... brilliant the cut so nicely. Cut not clamp. The are small and nice and pointy which helps with the daft small bits. They are nice to holdThe price was ok.
