Really nice strapping crimper. This crimper is full-sized, measuring in at 20 inches in length. Action of the handles is smooth and the tool is balanced and easy to handle. The jaws are nicely formed and are effective at grabbing around the strapping seals and making solid crimps that don't slip. The tool is very robust and should basically last a lifetime.

I ordered this banding/crimping tool to go with the PET banding and buckles I had ordered previously. The tool is well made and sturdy, but with one little flaw. If you have read some of my other reviews of tools and material I am a stickler for deburring and finishing of the sharp edges on hand tools. The one little flaw this crimper has is the inside stamped edge of the handles. They were not deburred and had a very sharp burr that you could easily get a nasty cut from. While you wouldn't normally use that portion of the crimper you could easily run your fingers over it while handling the crimper. It was a simple and fairly easy task to deburr the edges myself that took about 10 minutes to deburr and smooth out. My feeling is that this is a step that should be done at the factory as part of quality control. Putting that aside, the crimpers are very solidly constructed, with a nice rubbery covering on the handles. and they crimp the buckles very well. It will crimp PET buckles as well as steel banding buckles. I give this crimper 4 stars, only because of the burr issue.

This is an overkill-type tool. Its 20" long handles are 1/8" stainless steel and are made by bending a 2" piece into a U-shaped cross section. Eight pivoting, double-jointed, case-hardened steel jaws do the crimping. I tested it by crimping 1/8" stainless steel cable into a stainless steel crimp connector, it worked well. My main planned usage is for crimping turnbuckles, but you never know when something might need to be squashed flat. Nicely designed tool.

Great crimpers and the long handles make crimping a breeze. They arrived well packaged, undamaged, timely and as described. These crimpers work well and I would get them again.

Very useful, bought as a spare, because the old one has been used for several years, and it is not working well recently, and it feels like it is about to break. Received it and tried it, it is very useful, fine workmanship, and as good as the old one we have used for several years. However, the price is a bit expensive compared to similar products.
