The stepper motor with 27:1 planetary gearbox arrived in just two days from the time of my order. The motor/gearbox was shipped in a very good box with very good foam padding. The motor was brand-new as advertised and looked very nice.I tried the motor out on my system using a Raspberry Pi 3 B+ with a simple Python code. I was able to drive the geared motor with an L298 driver. With just 5 volts on the driver, I could drive the stepper motor. The motor behaved exactly as a bipolar stepper motor is supposed to behave and the shaft rotated quite smoothly, using 0.05 seconds for each pulse that went from the GPIO board (four outputs pins ) to the four input pins of the driver. Very impressive system for around 40 dollars. If you do not have time to build a planetary gearbox for your NEMA 17 stepper motors, then this will be perfect for you.I am rotating a piece of apparatus that weighs about 5 -7 oz , that has a relatively small moment of inertia. This STEPPERLINE motor worked great for me. Thank you.

Used for a clay extruder. Very quiet and dependable. I just put it into service recently and this thing is strong enough to pull stumps!I was concerned with it having the nylon gears and they do offer a metal screw model for more $ but so far so good. It’s nice to know I have an option...

I am using several of these to open/close doors in a display. The gear ratio is high enough to get good acceleration control and low enough that they can be back driven if someone moves a door manually. Original order of 12 was lost in shipping but quickly replaced.

Nice high torque but the small amount of gear slop made it un useable for the application I needed.

this motor worked great... plenty of torque and average noise for these motors... I'd buy another if I needed one

The motor overheat if I run it on the DM556 for half hour. My CNC need a motor that can work for hours, not half. Useless because the CNC can run for up to 5 hours.
