This paddle is sweet, I’ve always wanted to play in the dark, but I’ve never been able to find led paddles. Just waiting on and overhead black light to light up the whole table. Worth the buy and would make a great gift.

First Impressions: The paddle is well made, and feels good to hold. The silicone grip is a big plus and the edge lighting on the blade are bright and easy to switch between colors. It looks great. After play: The paddle plays poorly, like very poorly. I've played with hardbats, mini paddles, even competitor glow paddles. Honestly the other models perform better than the Stiga Prism. Maybe it's just the paddle I recieved, but whether it's the included glow balls, or 3 star Nittaku's, the ball just dies off of the paddle after contact. I attribute it to the stiff sponge. The rubbers have a bit of grip which I figured I could spin the ball a bit, but that was definitely not the case.Final Verdict: If you are someone who is looking for a novelty at home, this is fun. If you want to run a glow pong tournament at your club or fun competition among friends, I do not recommend it especially for the rather high price tag. I hope that Stiga or another table tennis brand will release a glow paddle that uses a higher quality rubber for faster play.

LED charging last multiple times - they are a lot of fun and the balls are also bright

This was a fun novelty item for the birthday girl. We had a ping pong tournament for her 16th bday and this was instead of a crown or sash. She thought it was really cool. She did play with it and said it didn't play badly although when she got the to the final rounds she switched to a "normal" paddle she said she missed the "normal' paddle sound. It charges quickly and easily and you can cycle through different colors. I would recommend.

The first thing I noticed about this racket was the weight. I was expecting it to be much heavier than an average STIGA racket, but the difference is minimal once you get used to it. I like how the ball returns off the racket as well. The handle is a bit shorter than I would like but again, once I got used to it, it was good. We keep our table tennis table in our garage, so it was so fun to play with the lights dimmed and still be able to see the glow in the dark balls and racket. The lights on the racket stay charged for a long time. We played a few games and didn’t charge the racket and it was still charged the next day and even the third day. I would recommend this racket to anyone wanting to “change up†the game a little. My 13-year-old son loves this racket as well.

Got this to play blackout ping pong with my sons and it works great! Little pricey but worth the purchase. Highly recommend buying florescent tape to put on the ping pong table and a black light to hang up for a truly immersed experience! Also, make sure if purchasing florescent tape and using the glow in the dark ping pong balls that they sit under a light for a day or they will not glow in the dark. Cheers and happy gaming!
