Switched from the Stiga Rapter to get the lighter weight and better control. It took a little over two weeks for me to get used to this paddle. Definite difference in the two paddles.

The Stiga Talon is a pretty good paddle. The Spin is amazing! However, the control is hard to get, due to the lightweight handle. I am used to heavier blades, but this thing was so light I lost all control. It's a good paddle if you are a light paddle player.

I like the feel and lightweightedness of paddle during play. I hate how it broke into pieces after losing my cool and spiking it on the floor after a loss. I’m about to purchase again.

Not even a week and the Stiga sign is falling off the handle. I am very disappointed and won't buy it again.

We have used an older design of STIGA for years with five-star satisfaction. This new design, however, was very disappointing. It seems to use a cheaper wood that does not have a smooth feel for the hand. The transparent windows on the handle that show the STIGA logo is poorly designed and made, with the clear plastic popping off all the time getting lost, then the paddle is uncomfortable to hold.Will seek to return the four that I bought.
