Storing my stand-up paddleboards up and out of the way. Thorough instructions made installation easy once I found my joists. Although it said for one padleboard, I had limited space; so, I am using it for 2 boards (an 1.5 & 8.5 ft board). It's secure and I'm not worried in the last bit. Well worth the money!

I wish it brought the board a bit closer to the ceiling as there’s a good 10-12†gap due to the way the pullies are arranged. Other than that, it’s easily adjustable, strong (kids have been swinging on the straps 🤷ðŸ»â€â™‚ï¸) and easy to install.

Quality suspension system. Instructions were simple to follow and all the hardware seemed to be sturdy for what it’s used for. Used a 3 wrap uni knot on the closures and worked like a charm.Using it on a 45-50lbs Bote HD 12’ SUP. Easily keeps it in place and out of the way.

Have two 10 foot SUP and was able to stack once the system was installed. Installation was pretty simple just moving the ladder back and forth a few times. A second set of hand sure did come I handy for cord management as they give you enough to mount this to a 15 foot ceiling.

Easy install, product seems very well made, works as expected, i would buy it again. The only point i would improve on would be the length of the rope supplied. Another 4 feet would have been better for my install. I have a 12 foot board and it is in a garage with a 12 foot ceiling. When you drop the slings to the floor to load the board, The rope is out of your reach. I fixed this by putting a loop of rope on it so i could reach it. With a lower ceiling, the setup would have been perfect.I can live with this and as i said, i would buy it again.

Cleaver product. Did the trick for us. But the cord is pretty thin. Already fraying a little bit. All in all though really good value for the price. Great storage for paddle boards to not waste garage space.

Doesn’t hold the board any where near the ceiling. I expected some clearance needed to account for the block and tackle, but best I could get is more than two feet. The break mechanism requires that you pull the cord forward, under the board. In real life this means pulling it to the side which doesn’t work or through the board which isn’t possible. I wanted this to work, I really did, but it just isn’t reasonable. Skip this, it is very frustrating to install and barely works.

Using for my 11' paddleboard. I was tired of always hsving to have a 2nd person help get my paddleboard down from the wall sling i had been using. This pulley system was easy to install and use. Will be buying a 2nd one.

Love this thing. Curious to see how long the rope will last. It’s easy to lift the board up and down in a controlled fashion. My only feedback would be around the design of the hanging straps. These could have more of a quick connect/latch design versus a pull tight design. It would be nice if I could adjust the straps to size then simply leave it there with some sort of clip or latching mechanism. It took a great deal of effort to achieve the 4†clearance as described. I don’t think my wife will be able to achieve that in order to clear our garage door when it’s open. Install was very simple and completed in about 30 minutes. I will be likely to purchase another when we get our second SUP.

This is well made, easy to assemble and mount, and works well. The square hole to pass the loops through is a more sturdy solution to the regular hook variety, but in my case, it makes it a little harder to use because you can't simply unhook the loop holding the kayak. Instead you have to thread the loop through the square hole - a little annoying but not too bad. The square hole solution would definitely be a plus where the kayak might get swayed around and a loop might slip off a hook / there is no way this can happen with the square hole provided by this hoist. There is a strap that can stop the two loops from separating but I guess it's only needed on short kayaks (mine is 5.5m so there is no chance of a loop slipping off one of the ends). All in all, a very good product.

Great product and does the trick. Instructions could have been better but the manufacturers website has some good videos that walk you through installation

This is the second hoist we have installed, the first was at my daughters house. The first installation was fine except we had to replace the rope first time we used it it frayed. The rope this time from this purchase seems better quality and so far no issues. There is a learning curve when lowering one rope at a time but a little practice no problem. we had to block the ceiling in garage to have solid fixture lined up with vehicle, just be sure you have solid beams to screw to. Yes highly recommend.
