I wear special leather suspenders which depend on a wide elastic band for appropriate tension. This elastic worked fine.

I purchased this elastic strap in 2021 and the quality was outstanding.Unfortunately I purchased it again in 2023 only to find that the weave is now half as tight (see image). As a result the elasticity is half has strong, the band deforms because it's weaker and it is also 36mm and not 38mm like it used to/ and still listed. The item description has not changed nor did the SKU.This is not a heavy duty strap for serious stuff, but it might work for your needs, hence the 3 stars. Just be mindful of this quality drop.
