Because elastic needs to be replaced occasionally and because I wear elastic waist skirts and sometimes need to either tighten or loosen the elastic (or just need to replace it due to age), this stuff is great. What makes it great is that it can be trimmed down to any width you need without fraying or losing integrity. It's comfortable to wear. If the width is a bit wider, I do sew it through the middle to keep it from rolling inside the casing. It does not lose it's stretch doing this the way so many elastics will. Highly recommend it for the price and how well it lasts.

Just what I needed for pajama waistband. I'll order more from here when I run out. You get a lot of elastic for an great price.

Puts the fit back in to gaments that were loose. A seamstress needs this to freshen up tired wastband and more.

Bought this to use as waistband elastic and it works great. The elastic is a bit thin but, works for what I need it for.

I get very tired of paying dearly for short hanks of elastic, and having to settle for the width and style that is in stock. This is terrific! I have used it for several waistbands, and a) its super easy to thread through the casing; b) it doesn't roll; c) it is uniformly firm and stretchy. The nice wide width makes for a smooth-lying waistband, rather than all crinkled up with skinny elastic. Very easy to sew on it; needle goes through nicely without pulling loops on the wrong side, and it is a nice thickness that overlaps (to connect a band) without being bulky. I will definitely buy this again, but it will be a while - 11 yards lasts for more than a few projects!

Bought for waistbands for sleeping/ jammie pants.Decent elastic but for some reason really likes to roll. Casing was wide enough, but I've never struggled with elastic like this before.
