Inexpensive, solid build, amazing customer support. Buy it and you wont regret it. Goes together easy, its durable, bright, and simple to use. The flood and beam are punching way above its class. Great add for value price. Buy more and be happy.

Just installed and haven’t been able to take it to the range for seeing how the flashlight holds up to abuse.I will say all the other stream light products I use on duty never fail (with the exception of batteries)The flashlight itself is easy to install in my case I did so on a picattiny rail. If you have a longer barrel it will cast a shadow. The build materials are very sturdy and tightens down really good on the rail just with fingers. Easy to remove as well. The push button was kind of difficult to get on the rail with the picattiny attachment but I was able to secure it after a few tries then zip tied it down which probably wasn’t necessary. The set comes with a few different size zip ties for cable management and mounting. The flashlight has high beam and strobe setting on the push button but does not stay on unless you hold it down which is actually ideal for its purpose. You can toggle on with the button on the jack cap.Super bright flashlight compared to other stream light products I have. I haven’t been able to see how far the light casts but imagine it provides good illumination. It uses both the rechargeable batters and standard stream light batteries. This flashlight is for mounting only.

The ProTac 1000 lumen HL-X Pro is perfect. I was impressed by the flashlight's throw, can easily illuminate out to 500 meter because the 55,000 candela. The 1000 lumens also produces a good pattern with plenty of flood and a powerful central hotspot. Mounting is a breeze, 2 options included: 1913 Picatinny as well as M-Lok, lockup on both is super solid. Love that is comes with a redundant tail switch as well as pressure switch (momentary only) with 1913 Picatinny mount for the switch all included. A lot of other WML will require you to buy a pressure switch and/or remote switch mount separately. Other lights may also require you to purchase a specialized tailcap to have the switch and redundant tailcap switch. Well worth the money for what you get, you can buy 2 for the price of some other brands....you know which brand I mean.

This is my go to flashlight. Super reliable, good battery life, very bright and focused light. Seems to be water and shock proof haven't been able to defeat one yet.

I'm a big fan of this light.Size: The size is just right for my application. I was initially worried that it would be too large based on other reviews but it looks great mounted up.Brightness: This light is very bright and provides more than enough illumination for my house. My application is for indoor use and it excels. I've tested it briefly outside and while it seemed bright to me you would need to evaluate if it's bright enough for your purposes.Batteries: I like that you can use the included CR123 batteries or use a larger rechargeable batter. I bought an EBL 18J-TC battery and it works great with no issues.Mounting systems: The included offset mount didn't work for my application but that's only because my equipment has some odd geometry. I did use it temporarily and even though I couldn't get it perfectly positioned it held on well. I would assume that if you had a more common setup that this mount would work perfectly. The rubbery holders for the pressure pad seemed flimsy at first but I haven't had any issues with them after mounting them up.Other thoughts: I noticed that some other reviews have mentioned problems with the tail cap. I haven't experienced anything like this. My tail cap screws on tightly and stays in place. The jack for the pressure pad also fits securely and I've never had anything become disconnected.I would definitely buy this light again.

The light itself is fantastic. Absolutely the best bang for your buck WML. 5 stars for the light. 0 stars for the tail cap.The “crane plug” is absolutely useless. The tail cap is horrible. Great idea, awful execution. Does not work with unity hot button crane plug or modlite hot button. The included tape switch is momentary only and also doesn’t secure to the jack in a confidence inspiring manner, so there’s no point in using it. Streamlight offers different tape switches, but nothing on par with a hot button and they’re $30 a pop, so after a scout mount, inferior tape switch, and the cost of the light, you’re pretty close to surefire pro money. Ruins this lights whole shtick, which is good light at a reasonable price. Because the tape switch plug is useless, all it does is give you a way smaller button. Would be much better with a standard button like the older HLx. Or even better, if streamlight would just make it compatible with surefire tail caps or at least surefire tape switches.Another good upgrade would be a similar mounting solution to the surefire scout pro. That is leaps and bounds better than the regular scout style mount. Lower profile, no custom mounts needed, and you can get the light EXACTLY where you want it. If they did those two things, there would be zero reason to buy any light besides this.

This light is very durable, extremely bright, and throws a nice beam of light. Would buy this brand over the more expensive brand any day of the week.

It is much better than the 2000-lumen streamlight. The beam pattern is more suitable for reaching out to distance. The flood is good for situational awareness and using up close. I highly recommend it.
