Works very well for containing parts. It is silicone, so it is very heat resistant. Has a few magnetic cubbies for small screws or components. Nice spot for tweezers and screwdrivers. It is so heat resistant, I actually twist the tip of my soldering iron on the mat to get rid of excess solder when I need to. My previous mat was very old and this is so much nicer than the old one! 5â

My husband uses this mat to clean and oil his fishing reels. He says it’s great and easy to clean.

I have a couple of these for my soldering station. They also work great simply as a mat for assembly and disassembly. It is great to protect your worktop from solder splashes. I have also found that they force me to keep my project workspace more organized.

I use this for working on electronics or models on my desk. It's nice and heavy and does not slide around. Rolls back up easily for storage. Glad I got the larger size

3 best things that this has:1) Magnets in more than one spot for screws and parts. Great for knife takedowns and cleanings. *achoo!* .."and the screws are still there, whaaa?!"2) Tools' Holder-Holes.. for tools.3) Spots for Knolling. Knoll with spots. Pick a spot, any spot.Always. Be. Knolling.

I needed a utility-centric mat to hold a variety of screws and also provide some heat resistance. Worked perfectly and is now a part of my main electronics setup. Thanks!
