100 ft of cable with 30 ft being driven over a few times at an outdoors event, concerned me. Many reviews mentioned concern over the durability of the thinner plastic-rubber case. Yes, the area was roped off, but it still happened. A velocity test showed no damage or negative affect upon the cable.The smaller cable size is nearly completely based on the thickness of the outer cover. This makes the cable easier to maneuver, lighter, and easier to store.The plugs are sturdy and well designed. I would love to see something more protective for holding those connections more secure (locking).
