Simple, effective, and nice in appearance. It holds five full-size guitar cases and stands freely, without needing to rest against a wall. Exactly what I was looking for. Easy assembly with screws and pre-drilled holes, with included glue to reinforce the joints, where needed. All of the visible wood pieces were very comparable in color/shading; only one piece was (a tiny bit) different in shade, but it was the stringer which runs across the back and provides support to the overall frame. Given that this piece is hidden by the guitar cases when in use, this isn't an issue to me. I suspect it would not even be noticeable to somebody who didn't assemble the unit. I only mention it since all the other pieces were of such high consistency, and this was a deviation in the product. If I need another rack, I'll look to get another one of these.

I expected to receive this rack and quickly decide to make it on my own. However, I was pleasantly surprised. To start off the wood is beautifully figured! It matches all of the other genuine walnut I have in my office. The pieces are solid and the design is well constructed. It was super easy to put together and it feels surprisingly sturdy! I couldn’t be happier with the purchase. The only thing I was worried about is the base getting nicked and dented overtime. So, I purchased some rubber tape and lined both pieces of wood where the cases would rest. It would have been nice for them to include this, but it is only a small gripe. All in all the stand is well worth the money!

I needed something safe and sturdy for my guitars. This product is SOLID WOOD, and took me 15 minutes to put together. THERE IS NO NEED TO BUY ANYTHING ELSE! This product is made in the USA, comes packaged PERFECTLY, and is strong when put together. I would HIGHLY recommend this product to anyone. They even include a tiny tube of Gorilla Glue to hold this together. *Use the glue as instructed -- you don't need much. What I like most about this product is that it's made here -- I shop online a lot, and am often conflicted that so many products are made overseas. Well, you get what you pay for: this American-made, solid-wood rack is strong, looks great, is made with straight, solid, perfectly-cut pieces of wood, and comes with everything you need. You'll need a Phillips head screwdriver, but that's all. GREAT PRODUCT!!! I should have bought one a long time ago.

I like this rack. It holds 6 of my guitars, in their cases. Helps keep things organized , tidy , and up out of the way. Also, it is easy to select a guitar from. It is easy to assemble. And, it is sturdy,,as long as you follow the assembly instructions. It looks good, too.

This is a nice little stand. I was able to fit, in the cases, a guitar, banjo, three mandolins, and a violin. The stand is solid wood and very easy to assemble. I gave it four stars because the pieces weren't sanded evenly, which caused some of the stain to be uneven, and the little tube of gorilla glue was punctured by a screw during shipping and glued some of the screws together. As others have mentioned, there isn't anything on the top to keep the instruments from falling over sideways, so I'll eventually add something to help with that. I definitely recommend this stand.

Although I have purchased many products through Amazon, this is my first review. I am only considering writing this review because I am quite impressed with this product. Upon its arrival, I opened the box and inspected its contents. It was immediately apparent that quality wood was used (I ordered the Walnut rack). Assembly was extremely easy, as only a Philips head screw driver was needed (to secure a total of 12 wood screws). To secure the rack further, a small tube of Gorilla glue was also provided in the kit. The predrilled holes all lined up nicely, and the hardware was easy to install. It took all of five minutes to put together. I initially thought that the rack was too small and not able to hold five (5) guitar cases. I was wrong. It easily holds five acoustic guitar cases. As a hobbyist woodworker, I initially considered coming up with my own design, but when I thought of the time and material it would take to do that, I opted to spend my time on other projects. I do not regret my decision. In fact, I am planning on ordering another rack for my remaining instruments. One quibble I do have is that I wish there was a mechanical way to keep the guitars secured to the rack. (The guitars sit at an angle and are quite stable.) Therefore, I will be attaching a bungee cord to both ends of the rack, thereby preventing anything from causing a guitar to fall from the rack. (I have quite a few young ones in my home and could see them accidentally pushing a single guitar off the rack.) I highly recommend this product.

Instructions were straight forward. Prior to purchasing, I noticed people were able to fit more than 5 cases on the rack! It looked sturdy! When I recieved it in the mail it did not disappoint by a mile!! This was exactly what I was looking for and for the space it can take I feel like I can squeeze maybe 6 cases or a slim case with another acoustic guitar case. The darker wood felt like it was more suitable for me personally. I’m glad I got it! If you’re searching for something to hold the CASE instead of the guitar. This is for you I swear by it! I had all my guitars piled up one on top of another and I had gotten way too lazy to keep re reaching for a particular one when I wanted to play and it was the lowest to the bottom of the stack. This is a quick grab open and play! $100 and worth every cent! Professional looking too!

Assembled the rack with the Gorilla glue provided. After a few hours the glue started appearing at all the joints and it was white and very obvious. It would not wipe off as other waterbased glues so stuck with a rather unsightly assembly. There is a warning in the small print to use the glue sparingly but there should be a larger warning or use a water based where it could be wiped off
