This was just what I wanted. It is about five inches high, and easy to get up to it. Just enough to get back into higher shelves, but I feel comfortable on it. I hate heights! Super easy to put together, I did it myself. I think it was worth it, because of the sturdiness, the safety factors and ease of using.

The non-slip is the best feature because it gives you confidence to use the stepping stool. I used it for that added boost I needed to get into a relatives car & I also use it daily by my bed because of the mattress height. It's just going to be a matter of time before I begin using it for a cabinet in the kitchen as well. I will probably buy another just for that. It can be set on edge if you want to store it when not in use & it doesn't fall over. Overall, it looks & feels well assembled. There is no wiggling or movement at all...it is solid to step on & large enough for your foot to get into place. The height is what I like the most because it isn't too high for me with my bad knees. It's a big assist for me with me being a senior & I can easily pick it up to use wherever I need it which is another plus. I'm pleased with my selection.

I had a stroke a few years ago and, being short (5 feet) needed a little assist to climb into SUVs. This stool gives me the perfect few extra inches I need to feel safe. Plenty of space to stand on to get my footing and feel safe. It’s very strong constructed of wood with nice gripper strips. I have purchased 4 of them for niece’s and friend’s suvs and one for my home. I love it!!

This step stool is perfect for what I need. When I take Uber a lot of their cars have a seat that is too high for me to get into comfortably. I have to ask the driver to literally pick up my lower legs and shove me into the seat. Now with this lightweight and sturdy device I don't have to do that anymore. Thank you. This stool is lightweight very sturdy and stable. It does not collapse but it is small enough to fit on the seat of my Walker flipped over on its back, but still I'm extremely happy with this device. Also works great for easy stepper exercises and reaching items that are just out of reach.

This low step stool is quite strong and easily stored in our kitchen. Now I can reach the top cabinet shelves, even though it's only a few inches high (so not impossible for my knees to bend, as would be the case with a taller step)Excellent quality, well worth the price.

I thought these steps were beautiful -- handsome enough for fussy folks and sturdy. The description says good for outdoor entryways. I weigh mid 200-s so the 440 lb limit seemed more than safe for me. However, in less than a year the one I was using started to split along one side and became unsafe. The laminated wood might be the culprit -- I think a solid piece of wood might last longer. So I recommend them for indoor use, or outdoor if protected. Mine is protected from sun and somewhat sheltered from rain and it's not used every day. I'm very sorry it didn't last. I'm going to try to do a duct tape repair.

I could not get into my bed it was so high! This stool is beautiful, sturdy and exactly the right height. It was SO EASY TO ASSEMBLE. I LOVE IT!
