We received this desk a few weeks ago (thank goodness for delivery to an upstairs apartment - the box is heavy!) and assembled it almost immediately (see below). Since that time the desk has been in use almost daily and is holding up well. Nothing has come loose, the surface is solid and doesn't move to much (on carpet) and the pen holders and drawers are functioning well. Even with the desk mostly being used by a 10 year old.Assembly wasn't "too bad" for an item like this. Other than a couple of places where you had to be careful to get bars the right way up, and trying to work out from the diagram which way the locking hinge goes, the desk was put together in about 40 minutes. Tightening up the bolts with the provided tools might be a bit tricky for some - but using tools I already had it was a snap. The trickiest part for us was really the plastic drawer assembly which, while snapping together solidly perhaps took a bit too much effort to snap together and was a little tricky to screw into the caddy provided.There are plenty of storage compartments, plus the lip at the bottom is a nice feature to stop pens rolling off. At a 30 degree angle, paper stays in place well.Therefore, even with a few niggles in assembly, for the price this is a great art desk.

Very easy to put together, this 61 yr old lady assembled in 45 minutes. Easiest thing I ever assembled. Directions were excellent! It is so sturdy. I will be able to cut my material on this with padding of course, sew, paint, make me jewelry and do my jigsaw puzzles. It is sturdy enough for my sewing machine. My space is limited in a mobile home, but fits nicely into one of my closets in the bedroom, I just lift the top up and out of sight. Then wheels nicely right out to my living room on carpet, no less! The drawers are plastic, which is fine. I put the 2 pencil holders together on one side, so it holds twelve pencils perfectly or thin markers. I put the 2 open trays on the other side to hold thicker markers or paint brushes. I am so glad I purchased this product! I don't understand the negative reviews on this table. The price was perfect. I think some people expect to much. Merry Christmas to me!

This is a great value. Heavy duty, steel construction, quality hardware, large print, very clear instructions (overall) It was shipped in a double box, intact. You will need a Philips screwdriver for assembly and a 7mm socket, wrench or adjustable wrench makes it easier for page 7 . . . .Everything was going smoothly until Page 8 , when it became time to snap together the blow moulded plastic frames for the drawers. I had to spend WAY too much effort snapping them together. Everything looked fine visually, I assumed the frames would simply pop together. Even pressing them into my workbench with my body didn't work. In the end, I had to use a LOT of force with my hand, hitting hard on them, on the bench, to get the moulded clips to lock all around the perimeter of each one . You can see in the fourth photo where a part of plastic broke. I worked in store customer assemblies for twenty years, am 71 years old, this ''ain't my first rodeo'' . . . this issue spoiled the assembly for me. I would give the product a 5 Star except for the assembly of the drawer plastic frames.

I bought this desk for college, so this has been in the back of a jeep multiple times driving for hours from home to my dorm, smashed with other dorm objects, has been bashed into so many walls I couldn't even tell you, and seven years later I'd say it's getting to be on it's last leg.In 2020, one of the locking wheels did break while I was moving into my dorm, but it still worked. Didn't wobble, it was just a pain to move.Now in 2022, the bar in the middle has stripped and the desk is unstable for me to use.I would say if you need a desk to come to college with you, this is it. It's light enough I can carry it myself, but still strong enough I could put a crock pot, HUGE microwave, and God knows what else on it and it still rolled smooth.If you don't need it for college housing and home, then I'd say you'd get more than 7 years and that's worth it to me.

This has been excellent gift for someone that is a sketcher. He had forgotten how much he loved to draw and this brought back his love for drawing. Having a specific space for drawing has brought out the creative juices. This table adjusts in angles for the perfect drawing angle. The side holders are great for  the small items like erasures or charcoals. There is a place for drinks so as to no ruin any work on the table top and pencil holders. The drawers hold paper or additional supplies he needs it. There is so much storage and we still have space to store things. The table surface is also a great size for a light clamp as well which I plan to add in the very near future. The large table top is perfect for having  additional art or inspiration and still having space to draw or paint. It was easy to assemble and sets level on the floor

We bought this desk for our 12 yo who loves to draw. It's great that the angle of the surface is adjustable, so he can use it flat for making stop action videos, or tilt it for drawing. The plastic organizers on the sides give a place to keep frequently used items handy. The table surface is a smooth laminate. The storage drawers under the desk are pretty small, but allow him to keep some art supplies. The pictures give a very realistic view of the product.The desk height is not adjustable, but is appropriate for adults - this is NOT a little kid desk. He uses a tractor seat stool (height adjustable) with the desk, and a clamp-on lamp for extra lighting. He's been using it for a month now, and loves it - no complaints.It was pretty easy to assemble. The table surface arrived with a wrinkly dent along one of the long edges, and one of the drawers was warped, but the company has a website for reporting issues and quickly sent replacements parts - no hassle.

Product in general is really good, sturdy and mechanism looks reliable. Sadly the desk table was damaged and it didn't happen on shipping or transport since boxes are in perfect shape, so the problem comes from packing at factory since it has no protection and it's together with metal parts. Hopefully they improve that.

I started diamond painting and needed a more isolated space and bigger space to do it. I was able to put this together on my own, with a bit of trouble but only the part that included lifting the top of the table on. Overall I am very happy with this purchase and enjoy the space it gives me for my hobby

Surprising well made. I replaced the casters with adjustable feet as the desk was going to be stationary.
