The package was defenitly heavy. Some of the foam packing material was shreading? falling appart? After opening stryfoam balls where floating and clinging. I moved the package back out side to unload. Putting it together was a little tricky (one person). The table top is heavy and I almost waited for help. However, once I got it together it was almost perfect for my use. The top is a little heavy and a little tricky to handle while adjustin high and angle, but once set it is good. The retractable pencil lip was a nice surprise. It doesn't quite rise enough to support a good size canvas at an angle - never was advertised to do that - I clipped a couple of arco clipps to the pencil rails and it's all good. This is the best and highest quality item I've purchased in a while. I'm glad I got it. It appears that the reviews get mixed up - I bought the FOLDING - TILT WHITE TOP version.

Prospective buyers...Overall decent desk, but I should've read the reviews first and looked at the measurements more carefully before I invested. I will explain.I wanted a drafting table that specifically folded up for my apartment life. This does the trick, and there was a "Like New" option for $90 that I couldn't pass on. Why not, free returns right? No. This thing was not going anywhere unless I threw it on the curb and called scrappers. The box says Heavy, it's bulky, and it was packed in a way, that probably caused an environmental hazard across several states. The tape failing, the styrofoam spewing with every movement. I work in a warehouse and, honestly, this was the most styrofoam bits I've ever seen (I'm still vacuuming them), like a cursed amount. Upon opening, pieces and broken styrofoam everywhere....The desktop had three spots with damage, but minor. Again, the one i bought had been opened before, and idk if the damaged occurred in shipping or previously. One of the legs was dented, at the end, where it's supposed to slide thru the larger piece, and now couldn't. This would've been an "I Quit" moment for a lot of people. Throw in the towel, ring the bell. The assembly, like a lot of the reviews say, is generally a rough time. There is a clear diagram, but doing the steps takes some effort. I am kind of handy, and with tools, I was able to fix the dent problem and make the desk very sturdy. 1.5 hours with a break. Clean up, like 2 hours. And lastly, sure it folds, but it is massive. Your drafting space is impressive but this desk could be very awkward for some to handle. Especially if you're smaller, then it might fold you.I don't do reviews normally but the styrofoam got me fired up and I think this desk needs a warning. I'm happy with it overall. For what I paid, I feel it was a decent trade off for the size and it's not bad quality. So, just be prepared for these potentials hazards. Bc I wasn't!

since i was in my 20s (a looong time ago), i have absolutely loved putting things together, be they electronic, furniture, bicycles, you name it, it's always a joy. until this thing. damaged corner, cheap lining on edges not put on smoothly nor seamed together well. cheap plastic coupling. sides of tray are bent (poorly molded). dire directions, but as i usually can visualize without that, not that big of a thing for me. don't bother - pay more money, or better yet, look for a pre-assembled table. this is a big waste.

We just assembled this table - which took forever - and it weighs so much that using it as a folding table/desk is prohibited. Even if you are a weight lifter - the table does not stay folded. You would need to put a bungee cord around it - or something else. DO NOT BUY IF YOU WANT AN ACTUAL FOLDING TABLE/DESK!P.S. Also the "desk" white part was chipped about an inch in the corner.

Not terrible. Not great. It says portable but this thing weighs over 40 pounds. And setting it up is not super easy by yourself. I bought it thinking I’d be able to move out outside in the deck and back inside which is possible but VERY DIFFICULT. Just save your money if your looking for something portable. Better off with a cheap table from Walmart and a tabletop setup. Or an artist easel.

This is a heavy table which can be adjusted fairly easily. The pencil ledge is flimsy so the middle of the ledge bends a little away from the table edge.

There were missing parts to drafting table assembly. I contacted seller by email with photos and they responded favorably. I received my parts in a timely manner and could assemble the table. The assembling of this project is difficult by one person. Won't lie...took me awhile and had to be quite creative.Considering all this...still happy with purchase.

I’ve found this drafting table to be very useful. It’s quite sturdy when drawing yet light enough to easily fold up and move out of the way. Height adjustments are easy to perform and it’s a convenient size. The usefulness of the tray is somewhat limited because of its location but I think it’s more for stability than anything but that’s a minor quibble. I think it’s a good value.
