i bought this because i wanted to ensure my hatchet was on my person at all times and not left in the yard where if i put it on the ground and forgot it then kids might find it, you know the story.. It fits my hatchet real nice and then i bought the FAIRWIN Web Holster Belt to put it on because most of my belts lol are nice belts and not meant for outside work and to hang things on like this.

If you have a grip on your hammer, the grip will get caught on the lip of leather beneath the ring every time you want to pull it out behind your back. This is something that really should have been noticed immediately by the developer. But at the end of the day, you can still modify it yourself to fix that problem. Otherwise, it’s a quality product for a good price.

This item is larger than you think it is! Looks smallish in the photos, but can carry a full-size axe with no problems.The quality of the leather and workmanship is EXCELLENT.

This is a very well made tool hanger. The leather is thick and properly oiled. The ring is heavy and well anchored.

I haven't really used this yet. I bought a couple of tomahawks to customize and taking camping/hiking and figured I would try this to carry them. obviously this is meant for a more level surface though. Just walking around a long hawk handle will be hitting you in the calf and if you are wearing it sitting down won't be comfy. But I think this thing works as intended. Don't let the dog chew on it and it should hold.

Bought this for my Columbia River Knife and Tool (CRKT) 2730 RMJ Woods Chogan T-Hawk Carbon Steel Axe. Very heavy duty and fits up to a three inch wide belt. Also holds my framing hammer and hand axe.

It had a great feel and it fit my Hatchet nicely, the craftsmanship was refined and detailed. The only thing I realize when I bought it was it's slightly bigger than in the photo, overall though it gets the job done and that's good enough for me

The product is of very high quality, and serves it's purpose well. Due to the large metal loop, it can hold almost anything you want. I wrapped the loop in leather to reduce noise. This cannot, however, replace the functions of a sheath: the loop is dropped significantly lower than the belt and is quite large - both factors contribute to the tool of choice swinging around wildly when you move around.
