After installing this, the light would not come on, even though I could hear the hot water heater come on.LED lights are polarity sensitive and won't work hooked up in reverse. I followed the directions, obviously the light was installed in the bracket upside down. Once I switched the leads the light came on as normal.This is a problem, not everyone knows this polarity issue with LED,s, beware.

The switch was installed up side down and would not work until I turned it around like the original switch. Deteriorated quality like most everything.

Nothing wrong with the switch. Just can't figure out why Suburban can't include this as part of the $400 +water heater replacement kit.
