After having to work on the furnace in my cougar 5th wheel the second time I realized I needed this solution !1. Endure the exterior and interior of your camper will allow fitment if you do not have a cover currently . Be prepared to do some surgical cutting of your units body and trim panels .2 . Buy a high quality butyl rope sealant or good exterior silicone to ensure a proper seal between the frame and the body of the rv.Install and enjoy the ease of being able to work on your motor , fan and control board without having to contort your body while lying on the floor to access your furnace !

This is one of those cases wherein the manufacture of the camper should have used alum or s/s components in the assembly. As it worked out, the factory installed screws, pipes, and this back door furnace cover rusted out at the bottom within three years.Just finished installing all my new components. This Suburban Co 6258Aeb Door Black Furnace Sf Series proved as a perfect fit. Sadly, the new unit is still crafted as cheap painted tin. That means a few more years, and I'll likely have to replace it again.But let's not blame the original failure on the material. The silicone sealing as applied by the builders was poorly completed. This permitted the leak that caused the rusting. So, my advise to those purchasing this unit, make sure you pick up a full tube of clear silicone. Otherwise, you'll be heading back to the store.So, the unit fits perfectly. But, it is still a cheaply crafted externally mounted component. Maybe this bit of complaining will stir the manufacturer toward increasing the quality of the unit. If not, I still give a four just because it fits as it should.
