I've purchased this filter 3x from Amazon. The first two were supplied by the "Official Sub-Zero store" and the product received was genuine and as advertised.The 3rd time it was from fulfilled and supplied by Amazon itself, for quite a deal of a price. Sorry Amazon, but you got it wrong. The product delivered was a filter with half the capacity and not the 4204490 listed, but rather 9030868. They are not the same. This has been described by other reviewers several times here.

Was happy to see an genuine filter was available on Amazon and it was delivered within a day! It was easy to replace and was the same model as listed. It seems to be a little pricier here, but the quick shipping and knowing that if there was an issue, it would be taken care of easier and quicker was worth it.

using these for 10 years on same Sub zero, good quality, removes taste of Florida local water. no idea if it removes harmful items though.

Despite the manner in which the instructions are given, this is actually very easy to install. After reading the directions and warnings included I was terribly worried this was a dangerous and/or difficult task. I should not have been. It took only a few minutes to remove the old filter and replace it with the new one. This item is genuine, in excellent condition, and appropriately packaged for safety. I am very pleased.

Expensive but effective. I also feel confident using the brand name filter instead of a substitute. Very easy to install and remove with clear instructions.

Having a subzero isn’t maintenance free. This is the second filter I’ve had to replace. Prior I called the service company and they would charge a travel fee, an up charge on the filter, and the service fee. I’ve started changing these myself and haven’t had any issues and ordering online is less expensive.

Sub-Zero products are excellent. I have never had an issue with any of their products. There are other compatible filters for my Sub-Zero fridge but for "peace of mind" I will stay with Sub-Zero products. Absolutely "no risk" with product.
