This is a very cool looking resin skull; I decided to use it as a planter instead of as a Halloween decoration. I drilled a larger hole in the bottom for better drainage. I think that due to the way it’s shaped on the inside, it tends to hold onto water a little more than a regular cylinder or bowl planter.

When purchasing this skull bowl, I anticipated the inside to be smoothed out and completely sealed. The finish is beautiful and overall it looks great. I may have not read the description completely,or it wasn't stated, but there is a small hole in the bottom of it. So I think this bowl may be designed to be used as a planter, or for dry,solid snacks only. The inside also isn't smoothed out like a "bowl" would be. None the less it's still awesome looking and I was still able to find a function for it.

I gave this to my sister, a goth, for Christmas. She loves it! She put some brightly colored flowers in it and really enjoys it when people admire the floral arrangement then realize the vase is a skull. She plans to buy a few more on her own and put them all around her home.

Size of the skull is perfect and the paint job is nice - I've had a few other orders (not from this seller or this product) that came that had horrid paint jobs.The fact that there is a gap in the bone at the jaw line is great, no need to drill it out to fit a hanger.Only con: the pre-drilled drain hole in the base of the skull, I'll have to plug it before I plant in it. Plan to hang it above my computer and the last thing I want is it dripping on the monitor.

Great quality and so far good drainage. I do wish it were bigger and I would have priced it a bit lower because of its size. Overall, detail is fantastic and I love it with my black petunias! Can't wait to do it up for Halloween!
