I bought this item for our rv. We found it easy to read and very accurate. I love that we can put it up in the dashboard or take it with us in a hike!

I bought this mainly for the Altimeter. It was inaccurate and often read below sea level. It would work, then not work, and always had to be reset/recalibrated. The compass never read anything but E and the thermometer never read anything but 70, except when it got some sun on it. Once no sun, 70. I looked for a long time to find something and ended up with this. I wouldn't waste your time. I need to keep looking. Sent back for a refund.

The altimeter works well enough and I have no complaints about that. However, the compass is useless on my car dashboard (it always points towards the metal in the engine and dashboard), and the thermometer is in a black case in sunlight on my car dashboard, so its readings are useless.Outside the car, as something for hikers or the like, it might be fine.

Once setting up the Navigat'r 6 out of the package, found the compass did not work.Contacted Sun Co and received wonderfully easy (no nonsense) help from Austin to replace and return.Very seldom have I found a company that has not set up barriers and hurdles to make a satisfactory purchase when the product does not work.Goldstar from me to Austin, thanks.

Sorry I purchased this, it is not functional, the barometer is off as the temperature, made of thin plastic, so very upset, no way to return it?

Display too small for anything other than closeup view. No good for a vehicle.

The main reason you buy this is the altimeter and that works as it should. the temperature gauge is slow to react to changes and is usually only within 5 degrees. the compass works when you remove the instrument from the slide out base/holder but the metal on the Dashboard of my jeep keeps it from working while driving. So I like this Item. It looks great. It does come with a slide out red flashing light as well. I felt the Price was a little high esp. since the compass/thermometer aren't perfect. But I will remove this from the Base when i want a compass reading and that will be fine. Overall it's good and I would recommend. maybe your dash doesn't have as much metal as a Jeep and the compass will read accordingly as you drive.
