I have to recommend picking up whatever mounting hardware they’re also selling separately or referring you to, as I was unable to get it to install correctly without it. The seller was very kind in working it out with me.

You have to cut the cording that comes with it & it all falls apart. Shade is nice size but it will not keep out any rain at all.Sent back for refund. Still would not buy again.

Updated 2024: the sail is back up for 2024 but a few more things to note. It did fade a lot last year and I had to apply scotch guard to stop the seeping that started last year. I suspect the scotch guard will be a yearly thing as nothing is perfect. I bought the 4 pack spray cans and used a can and a half on it. Dried quick and send to be holding.Update: changed from 5 to 3 stars. This was installed in July and it’s the end of September and it is leaking when it rains in one spot. There are no visible holes. It’s seeping through the sail and dripping water when it rains. A bit disappointing as up to now it has been great and it’s only been 2 and a half months.My deck is 8x12 so I got an 8x12 Sun sail. In hindsight I should have gone 9x13 or 10x14 for some overlap.I put two 4x4x12 ground contact pressure treated posts at the 9’ and 17’ marks and concreted them in for stability.The ends of the sail attached to the posts are attached with the nylon rope that came with it and the ends attached to the house have turnbuckles for tension. The sail is tilted toward the far post for water runoff. It’s going to rain tonight so I’ll get a chance to see if the slope is correct.If there are issues, I’ll update this review but if no updates, assume all is well.
