Needed an standard impact set for my job (fleet mechanic at a vacation resort in Florida). This set was more than perfect for what i needed. I'm used to working with metric sockets but needed this set for other vehicles tht called for standard. Only thing i noticed was some of the sockets had oil or grease on em but wasnt tht a big of deal. Easy enough to wipe those ones of. I was impressed the assortment of sockets, extentions and even the wobble socket tht comes with it. The wobble socket is well made. Not your cheap ones with the pins tht easily break after one or a few uses after using with impact tools. I have bought Sunex before and was happy with the quality and durability of there products. They are just as good if not better than a tool truck tools but less expensive and you wont be in debt to the tool truck guy for a long time buying these instead.

Great Socket set with a good assortment of SAE and Metric Sockets. Comes with a good case overall.The Case doesn't secure the sockets very well during shipping. After a quick 5 minutes of putting sockets in their correct spots and checking to make sure I received all the right sizes. Everything was there and covered in a nice layer of oil so they don't rust. The Tabs on the side of the case that snap closed seem thin and will probably get weak and break after some time of use. Over all the case is pretty solid for taking the tools on the go.

This is a great set of sockets. It has become my go-to set as it is all inclusive and easiest to grab in its case. It is a big set, so remember that.I saw on another review complaining that there is a lot of oil on the sockets. Well these are black oxide and will rust, eventually. Especially true in a humid environment, worse if they set and aren't used. Sunex has no idea how long they will set on a shelf before they end up a customer's hands, so its good that they oiled them up. Yes, they are covered in machine oil and it is smelly. I use these on my old (and new) cars and they will never be "clean".The extensions are an awesome inclusion and I've had the most use from the universal sockets that are included. I use these with my and its a match made in heaven for the majority of jobs replacing my ratchet except for very specific jobs where I either can't fit the impact wrench or something that would be inappropriate for impact, like spark plugs.As some other reviewers have mentioned, I've only had a single failure, and that was snapping off one of the Torx bits. They pretty much suck. That said, the rest are seriously strong. I've used a lot of them with a 3/8-to-1/2 drive adapter and my Dewalt (yeah, I've really fell in love with their 20V cordless tools) 1/2" impact rated for 1200 ft-lbs without any damage.

is a good work set for the price. I didnt notice of all the different scokets. The case is good. I have other sunex tools and have been very happy with then

Absolutely love this set, the wobbles alone are worth the price. This same set from snap on or Mac would be nothing of a grand. The wobbles are identical to the Mac ones. Buying this set for my son so he stops borrowing mine.

The socket themselves are sturdy and easily identifiable but the torx broke first time useing (not sunex fault ) having a impact torx bit is a bad idea can’t handle any toque from a impact only a ratchet but the whole kit is amazing for the price and you get a good amount and a variety of extensions universal and wobble

After using this set for about a year now I can say these are fantastic quality. I use them daily as a millwright with a hi-torque impact and they take all the punishment i can give them. I've left my snap-on and proto sets at home as these take the abuse better.

The hole for the ball detent is a little low and a little large as i have seen in other manufacturer's sockets but in practice it is not something that I even notice when using them (why do they do this?). The position of the etching in relation to the engraving on each socket is random. They came all scrambled inside the case but sit well after i removed the lid and put em in a drawer. They seem kind of rough. However, It is an excellent set overall when you consider the cost efficiency and overall utility this set possesses. You get the sense that if you paid more money it would be only cosmetic. They're not pretty but they work. They work good.
