Use Steps of Bolt Nut Remover
- Select the appropriate removal socket to create a tight fit over the damaged nut/screw/bolt, fit the socket over the nut/screw/bolt, and using a suitable hammer, strike the socket sharply several times until the socket has gripped the nut/screw/bolt.
- Place either a wrench or impact socket over the hex at the rear of the removal socket and release the nut/screw/bolt by turning it as a unit with the removal socket.
- Hold the bolt extractor in a vice and pass the drift through the rear end of the socket and strike the drift to release the nut/screw/bolt.
WARNING:
- Take care when removing the nut/screw/bolt from the remover, the nut may require considerable force to come out of the nut remover.
- Choose the appropriate size of the remover, the bite can neither be too deep nor too shallow to fit the nut/screw/bolt.

I was skeptical as usual when buying amazon tools, but these extractors worked better that expected.Not even a scratch inside the sockets after use!Used them to remove a completely rounded nut on my front sway bar end link and was not disappointed. The sizes are correct, they really like to grip on those nuts, and they're durable as hell.

Wheel lock and no key? Not anymore. Less than the key costs plus figuring which locking lug it is and now have a set of larger removers for when its needed. Havent gotten much abuse to speak about longevity

Costo Tires stripped our wheel lock key and the thread of the lug nut so there was no way to take out the tire normally. We went to multiple mechanic shops and dealership, all of them proposed extremely costly solutions like welding into the lug nut or drilling into the wheel and replacing rotor and hub that would cost hundreds if not thousands of dollars.We looked up some online forums and many people were able to extract the stripped lug nuts themselves with this kind of tool so we gave it a try ourselves. $70 and 30 minutes later and the lug nut was out with no damage to the rim or wheel hub.Protip: keep pounding the extractor bolt in with a hammer if it doesn't initially fit. Don't start loosening it until you pound it for a while to make sure it has good purchase on the lug nut. Press on it really hard while loosening it with a hand wrench.

Funcionan muy bien y son resistentes, en mi caso de perdio la llave de una tuerca de seguridad y para quitarlas funcionaron de maravilla, seleccionas el tamaño, le das unos golpes con el marro y a quitar la tuerca con un dado y maneral.

I was trying to get some wheel bolts out on my 2010 Passat and ended up rounding the head of the bolt.I bought these and had the bolt out within 5 minutes. Put the 17mm extractor on the bolt and hammered it on with a hammer then used a 36†breaker bar and out it came. Highly recommended.
