I don't know if the absolute calibration is accurate, but the relative calibration is excellent within a wide range! I purchased 6 of these and all six show the same temperature in an AC floor register at 55F and 105F in a glass of hot water. I purchased one that looks just like these 10 years ago for 5 times the cost. Same mfg as far as I can tell. Well made. Pocket clip is the same.

I've bought this thermometer twice. I lost the first one after I left it on the grill and a storm came. Both have worked as intended and the price is reasonable. If I lose another one, I will definitely being purchasing this again.

Have one on the motorcycle, use them for things I'm sure its not intended for, but works all the time, no batteries, no apple app. Just temp, not time and temp. What a nice simple idea!

Despite some reviews indicating that the device needed recalibrating, I had no such issue. I compared the weather temperature on my Samsung Android phone with its reading(on 3 separate occasions) and both measurements matched almost exactly. I like that it takes very little time to produce readings and it measures from hot to cold and vice versa in virtually no time. At this price, you couldn't get a better deal.

Product seems to work well. Haven't calibrated it or anything mostly because for a couple dollars it doesn't really seem worth my time. Bought a few as I have a habit of misplacing them. Use them mostly in my vehicle ac vents for monitoring the duct temp. Great price for a good product

It's OK. It is a standard 1 inch dial pocket thermometer. Nothing exceptional and nothing bad. It is reasonably accurate but as with most one inch dials is not extremely easy to read. I use it it when my 2 inch is in use elsewhere or temporary out of place.

Cheap and accurate thermometer. It fits easily into HVAC registers to give a reading of the air output. I've also used it in a car out of curiosity of how cold my A/C was. Lastly, when not in use for anything else it sits in a bottle of water in my fridge to give an idea of actual item's temperature. Occasionally you will get a power outage and this is the best way I've found to give an accurate reading. I took an empty water bottle, drilled a small hole in the cap, and placed this in the bottle through the freshly drilled hole.

I've had one of these for years, and the readings are consistent and repeatable every time. Now I've bought two more so I could monitor three points at once in my new refrigerator while I'm adjusting the temps. As a test, after that I lined them all up together in the fridge, then in the freezer, then at room temp, and they all read the same in each case. About as good quality as you'll ever find for something this inexpensive.

Very cheap add on. We needed a bunch of these and bought about 20 of them and bypassed the add-on amazon feature. Super cheap and they work great!
