This is a good bowl and as promised it is easier for my older dog to empty. The shape of the bowl and the incline help with that. It isn't the most robust product but it is okay in quality and a good value for the price. I wish they would include 4 or 5 of the rubber bands around the bowl that help hold it in the plastic holder.

The one cup is the best size for cats. I found out the hard way by ordering smaller and larger first. These are really great for not making a mess. We have one rescue cat who the vet had to pull all her teeth due to problems, and she has a very hard time eating without making a mess. I always had to continue pushing the food back toward her to keep it from going over the opposite side of the bowl. Since I started using this type, she has not made a mess in the floor at all, and I don't have to continue helping her. I pat myself on the back for buying these for my animals.One reviewer had a problem with the band that is around the inside rim of the bowl not lasting. So far, I have had no problem with them, but I did think about them not lasting when I first opened the packages. However, my second thought was a wide rubber band would work the same way, a simple solution.Also, any animal larger than a five pound chihuahua needs a larger bowl than the ½ cup size. They are very sturdy and easy to clean too.

Received this today and I'm so impressed. Granted it is kind of expensive but it is so well-made and sturdy that I'm glad I decided upon this one. I got the marble base, 1 cup version for my 14 lb Cavalier KC Spaniel. I mix wet/dry food together along with supplements to feed him. He has a sensitive tummy so I don't feed him but about 1/2 cup of food mix at a time. This bowl is perfect for how I feed him. It doesn't move across the hardwood floor or carpet and Brecken took to eating out of it right away. He seemed to like that slant of the bowl. It is easy to clean up and I'm happy with the purchase. Would definitely recommend this one.

I have an older dog that stopped eating out of a bowl since he flipped it. I have tried others but he refused. This new bowl is a game changer! He is back to eating out of a bowl. Bowls are stylish and the yellow is a bright cheery color. I would definitely buy again.

It’s rare that I rave about a product but this one is great! At just under $20, it is a little pricey, but it is honestly worth it. The two-part design of a small unbreakable metal insert in a solid plastic base makes it easy to fill, easy to clean, and easy to store uneaten food. What’s more, the round metal insert is deeper than many other cat bowls with a small diameter, meaning food doesn’t get spread out to the edges and therefore lost to the cat’s view. It also seems that the slope of the base does indeed help with my cat being able to eat in greater comfort, and the best part is that there have been no vomiting incidents since I switched to a slanted bowl. Highly recommended.

I have a Pug and the shape and angle of this food bowl is ideal for her she is easily able to eat her food from the bowl and due to its design underneath it the bowl does not move really ideal for this breed of dog.
