I looked for a ceramic receptacle because the plastic ones keep getting burned. The connector seems solid and the pigtails are long enough for most. Very nice set.

I was very happy to see that the receptacles are ceramic as described. Many other listings show ceramic, but actually ship plastic receptacles. Parts are of high enough quality, but I took off two stars because the packaging is poor. Everything in the kit is loose in a single bag so the porcelain receptacles and connectors are free to bang into each other during shipping. As a result, my kit had porcelain bits at the bottom of the bag and one receptacle that was damage beyond use with on of the ears broken off. I only needed two, so I kept it; but basically I paid for four and only could use three. Cheap, individual baggies would have gone a long way to providing some buffer between the glass bits.

The product was perfect. had all the pieces to repair the stove top burner. Only wish for the ires to be longer.
