My customer had a friend from out of town show up at their house (think cousin Eddie style). They needed power, and the supply house was out of these boxes. Bought this one and it's design and construction is good, the quality is as good as the other ones and functions the same. Easy to use, fit where I needed it to be and is water resistant as long as you keep the lid closed.

This box impressed me on it’s heavy metal construction, in the electrical field I usually stick with American made products, but this one definitely stood out was worth the purchase. The screws are all strong. They tighten versus strip like some of the other offshore brands.

Some people consider the philips cable attachment screws to be inferior to hex socket head screws, and they are right. But if you take care to tighten the ones on this unit adequately, you should be ok. Tested this at up to 24 amps, and no heating noted yet. Silicone contact grease on the plug blades reduces force on frequent EVSE connection cycles.

At the time of purchase, this was one of the least expensive 30amp RV boxes I could find, so I was anticipating that the materials and build quality would reflect that, but to my surprise, this box appears to be well made and of quality materials. Installation was simple and we’ve been using it for 3 months without any problems. I highly recommend it!

I've used several of this type of box over the years and this one is as good as the name brands. Thick sturdy steel. Good paint job. Receptacle well made. Wouldn't hesitate to buy again

I got this for review, but would consider it worth buying as well. It is solid, well made, good finish, and feels heavy duty.Inside the cover and in the manual are wiring diagrams that show the connections. Nice that it is on a sticker inside.My only real ding is that there isn't enough room to close the cover with anything plugged in. My RV plug has a built in handle, but even without the handle there is no way it would close. I knew that going in. I don't use it long term so not a show stopper for me.Mounting was easy, there are machined holes in the back for anchors. Plus 3 knockouts on the bottom for conduit. It was packed well enough to survive even rough shipping.A decent box.
