I use two of these through the side of my mobile office trailer to run overhead lights, electrical heaters, one-element electric stove top, power tool battery recharging units, etc. The cables are heavy duty 12-gauge and stay cool to the touch indicating that they handle the wattage very well. The outside socket has a rubber gasket to keep the weather out and seals it very well...I added silicone around the edge to add even more weather protection. There is a nice outside built-in cover for the plug when not in use. It's handy to have two plugs on each power inlet socket to run multiple items inside the office trailer. Very reasonably priced.

I wanted this to be installed for a full summer and winter before I left a review. I used this for a solar project on a trailer, installed in a box on the tongue. Basically, you plug the inverter and battery charger into this on the inside of the box, and can then run an extension cord without having to open the box. So far it has held up well.Pro-tips to install well and make it last:1. The screws rust. I should have treated mine but apparently I forgot and now they look bad. Nothing wrong with them, just aesthetics if that kind of things annoys you. I don't particularly care so I'll just leave them.2. When drilling the hole to pass through the plug, do so carefully. If you know how to use a hole saw, maybe start one size small and then go bigger because I think this is metric sizing and it will fit kind of loose if you go to big. This isn't a killer because you still screw it in and it will stay just fine but still you want as tight a fit as possible. I've installed a couple and the SAE size was a hair too big in my test so stepping one size smaller and then reaming the hole instead of going up an entire size made for a perfect fit.3. Use a little bit of silicon to seal up the hole around the plug and the holes around the screws where they penetrate and it shouldn't get any water what-so-ever behind it keeping it truly waterproof.4. I treated the whole thing with 303 protectant to make sure it stays protected in the sun and rain and the little flapper cover doesn't get all crumbly.Great product, and the price is just right.

Very easy install however one of the provided stainless screws broke immediately when trying to install. (Even after pre drilling pilot holes. I used more sturdy, 10mm self tapping screws to install into diamond plate on my trailer. That's there reason for my 4 instead of 5. Because the provided hardware is sub par. But the dual plug is nice for a constant and an optional Auxilary. I used it to clean up the look of my trailer and really like the soft rubber cover/plug. Excited to see how it holds up, but it suits my needs perfectly and was easy to install.

Perfect for my container!Screws are as cheap as they come and in the Core10 steel is tough on these screws without drilling precise holes and being very careful.

Added this to the outside of my chicken coops so that I didn't have to run an extension cord through the door or a window. It gives me several outlets inside the coop to run a water heater and lights.

I thought something like this existed and really needed it to lead power (from an extension cord) into a shed that I recently purchased. This one is PERFECT! You need a hole saw (I believe it's a 2" diameter hole) to drill through a wall. The part of the plug that faces outside is the male end - which, of course, fits on the female end of your extension cord. I bought two - one for each of my sheds. I'm about to order another one for another shed we are building. As you can see from the ad on Amazon - the inside portion has two grounded outlets on pigtails about 8" long or so for whatever you need to plug in. It's waterproof, attractive, and so much safer than leading the cord trough the door where it can get pinched. I highly recommend this item
