How to Make a Sushi Roll?
Step1
Spread a strip of plastic wrap over the bamboo mat. Then place a sheet of nori on the plastic wrap.
Step2
Wet your fingers and spread the sticky sushi rice over the nori.
Step3
Add your ingredients toward the center of the rice-covered nori.
Step4
Gently lift the bottom of the mat up and over the sushi. Press and shape the ingredients into a tube.
Well made items and the chopsticks have adorable fish stamped on them!

Bought this in 2017 and it has stood the test of time. I love the cute chopsticks a lot. Definitely makes sushi making easier.

They are easy to clean since you wrap them fully in plastic wrap prior to use. As long as you dont overload your rice and ingredients it is the perfect size. Chop sticks are nice would keep them out of the dishwasher, as with the paddles wooden products don't do well in it. My only issue is they use tiny straw sized and shaped pieces that make the mat. Some cracked and broke while making sushi, and I do not use a ton of force. So its longevity is questionable. I had a mat for years that had wider flat slat type pieces and it never even cracked. It just stayed with the ex. For the price it is a good starter set. See if you will make it more than once.

I wanted to learn how to make my own sushi rolls, so clearly in my head, the first step was to get a bamboo rolling mat. This is a nice little set. I like that there are two mats so I can roll em up with a friend. I also like the bamboo paddle it comes with so I can mix the seasoned vinegar with the rice properly. I didn't need the chopsticks, but I'm not mad about having more!

This has everything you need to become a sushi chef at home. I like the fact that it comes with 2 rolling mats and 5 chopsticks, which are of great quality. Just remember to cover the mat with cling film, so the rice doesn’t stick in between - otherwise makes it a bit challenging to clean in between the straws.By using this I am able to perfectly roll my California rolls with no trouble.

Quality was pretty good, it was very in-expensive which is what I was hoping for. The chopsticks were pretty basic so I picked up a plastic set to go with the roll mat and wooden spoon.Pretty good!
