The dive shop wanted $75 to change out the battery. This kit has all you need including the battery and O ring. Just remember which direction the battery is inserted and clean the O ring before closing up the unit.

I hoped it would last longer, but it's not bad still. A new battery lasted 43 dives made in 11 consecutive days. Each dive was about 70 minutes.

Ordered these as a replacement for our Suunto transmitters and both batteries were dead. We tried another brand of battery and transmitters worked fine.

I only gave 4 stars because it does not include the cover (which is recommend to replace) at least for the Suunto vyper air. I keep my cover in good shape, but eventually it will need to be replaced as well.
