The SVBONY fully metal 1.25" Mirrors Diagonal zenith mirror offers an upright figure which is but turned backward in left and right position. The mirror is compatible with refractors, Celestron EQ, Meade Infinity and similar telescopes. It is not suitable due to the length reflectors for Newton.

Up and down are correct left and right are reversed. Like looking in a mirror, the up and down image is correct, and the left and right are reversed, Good for space viewing, for there is NO upside down or right side up in space

The SV188 is compatible with 1.25-inch refractor telescopes additional adapters are required to connect with SCT telescopes. It is not suitable for reflecting telescopes

Amazon worker delivered to door in near darkness. She wanted to make sure I got the package. The diagonal looks great with high reflectivity and a lower price than the last SVBONY diagonal I ordered but was never shipped. I like that it looks natural with no funky anodized colors on it. For a 1.25" you cant go wrong. There is quality to be found in their product line.

Excellent quality all-metal (no plastic) mirror diagonal. Very well made, better than expected for a very reasonable price (I already have the Celestron one). Looks very sturdy and cleanly machined, the eyepiece has a brass holder ring inside so as not to mar the eyepiece. The mirror is nice and clear, the two sides can come off for cleaning if needed. Note that this diagonal is not a prism one.

I was able to line up on Jupiter and 4 of its moons on the first evening out using this diagonal. I am using on a classy old Orion/Vixen VX80. Having the 90 degree diagonal in place instead of the 45 degree unit it came with makes it a lot easier on the back! And the view was just as spectacular as you can hope for. No distortions or difficulty at all from this part. Be sure that you are aware of the physics of a mirror diagonal, the image you see is upside down. That does not matter quite as much with stellar objects, but it does mean your motions of the scope feel weird as it moves in apparently the opposite direction.

If you’ve purchased an inexpensive ($100-250) refractor it probably came with a cheap plastic mirror diagonal that is too small and uncoated, and consequently wastes a lot of the light entering it. Even worse, it may have come with a 45 degree erecting prism that wastes even more light, and is uncomfortable for viewing objects high in the sky. This mirror diagonal has a full size mirror with dielectric coatings that directs more light into the eyepiece. It’s an excellent upgrade, but it can be made better.If you look into this diagonal you can see that the side plates are made of plain, unfinished aluminum. That’s not good. The problem is that this metal surface reflects light inside the diagonal, and that reduces contrast. If you paint the inside surfaces with flat black paint, that will greatly cut down on internal reflections. To do so, remove the three screws that hold the plates on, and put the rest of the diagonal aside, so you don’t get paint on it in the following step. Next, clean the plates you removed with alcohol, let them dry, and paint the inner side of the plates with something like Krylon Ultra Flat Black Paint. Several light coats are best. Let these dry thoroughly (overnight is best), reattach them, and you’ll have a greatly improved mirror diagonal.(Amazon’s listing says that this diagonal has an enhanced dielectric coating; it does not. It has 90% reflectivity, which is not bad. But for another $10, you can buy Svbony’s better diagonal, which does have a dielectric coating with 99% reflectivity. Well worth the extra dollars for better telescopes.)

Mejoró un poco la calidad a diferencia del que venÃa por default con el telescopio scope travel 70mm y te da un poco más de apertura en ajuste del enfoque. Recomendado
