Attentive design
Use a clamping screw made of aluminum to fix your eyepiece. So you can even look sideways through your telescope - the eyepiece does not sit and fall out. From now on nature lies at your feet: even if it is far away.

Edited review - A little while after returning it, Svbony contacted me through Amazon and asked what my issue was. After telling them, they offered to make it right, even though I had returned the bad one. The one they sent appears to be in correct focus and works great for my use. I am a very new telescope user/builder, so I don’t know what an experienced user would think. Original review - “The one I received, had an issue with the mirror (don’t think it was a prism). It appeared to not be a first surface mirror, so there was a double image giving an out of focus view. Otherwise, it was nicely made. I returned it and didn’t replace it.â€

Just like every other SVBONY product I have bought this is great quality and good optical components. I would recommend this to anyone I know that uses scopes. It does as advertised and produces views that are upright and left/right proper. What you see with your naked eye is what you see though this erecting prism adapter.5 STARS

SVBONY is a China-based company with a reputation for producing better than average optics at better than average prices. That led me to believe this would be a good choice in an erecting prism, and for the most part, it is. Image quality is not bad for the price, and construction is, well adequate. You don’t expect precision milled parts for this price, and you don’t get them. As you might expect, it’s a mix of sheet metal and plastic parts. While it’s not exactly rugged, it should hold up to use with reasonable care. I wouldn’t recommend it for astronomy, but it’s useful for adapting an astronomical telescope for occasional terrestrial use. If you’re looking for a higher quality prism for birding or target spotting, SVBONY makes a higher quality unit for around $40.

I got this because it states in discription that it can be used with all scopes with a 1.25 scopes. But It does not evidently. I have an 8 inch f6 1218 dobsonian reflector and it doesnt seem to get a focus at all. I do not use a camera. If anyone has any ideas on what is wrong please let me know.

For this price, it is a decent 45 diagonal and it is very easy to locate things as you see in real life with correct left right and upside orientation. However the glass or plastic prism used severely streaks when celestial objects are viewed. This is great for land viewing using your telescope as a spotting scope day time. It is not a bad product but it is built just to the price. Other than the streaking the clarity is very good.

My telescope (like most telescopes) didn't have the right mirror configuration for viewing objects on planet earth. The earth bound objects appear to be upside down. When viewing objects in space, this is less of a problem.This affordable and well engineered item fixes the upside down issue. It was easy to install and worked immediately.
