Great pool game board, its well made and the pieces are magnetic. However, the backgammon side is a little too small, the pieces don't fit across if there are pieces in each space so you have to move some of them to the top of the space, it it was an inch wider it would be much better. Water did seep into the frame, I heard it swishing around when i lifted it. There is a little hole that is plugged with silicone type substance that I picked out with a push pin to drain water. I put a piece of tape over it before I put it in the pool to keep water out.

My wife and I enjoy playing backgammon while in the pool during the hot Texas summers, but don't want to destroy another leather game board. So we bought this game to meet our needs. It's a great game for the pool and we no longer need to worry about soaking the game board. The game floats although we place it on a raft in hopes of extending the life of the board. The dice and game pieces float as well. The magnetized game board and pieces prevent the chips from sliding (a wonderful feature). The only negatives (they are slight and don't affect game play) is that the color on the game pieces/chips run a little bit and they are slightly too large in diameter for the backgammon game board when the chips are bunched together. However the size of the chips is not an issue on the chess board. We will buy this board again when/if necessary. Buy it, it's worth the money.

It floats and the pieces float. The pieces are magnetic and stick well to the board. You can play checkers, chess, or backgammon.Problems- there's water inside after less than 20 uses. We store inside the house, so not left outside or in water (see video - you can hear the water inside). 2nd problem is that the pieces are too large on the backgammon board which is annoying (see picture).Overall, it works and is solid, not flimsy. I could live with the pieces being a bit too big, but the water inside means it's gonna be useless before too long.

My 10 y/o son likes to swim every day, but he sometimes gets a bit bored with just swimming, so I thought this may be useful. When I bought this gameboard, I also ordered waterproof playing cards and waterproof Uno cards. When playing cards, we use this gameboard as a floating card table, and I think it works well for that purpose, too. We haven't played backgammon yet because I need to brush up on the rules before I attempt to teach him. We have played checkers several times, and it's great. The pieces are magnetic, so when one of our pieces gets taken out, we stick it on the submerged gameboard. The dice and checkers all float, though the checkers are magnetic, so there's no chasing after them in the pool. If there was one thing I'd change, I'd add a little magnetic box to store the dice in. As it is, they do occasionally fall out into the pool. I'm very pleased with this purchase, and I think it's worth every penny.

The pieces don’t fit correctly on the board or board should have been larger to fit pieces. Also the first game we played in the pool a piece came apart. Also the dice are too large, does roll well. If I would have see a review like this I wouldn’t have purchased. Maybe the seller will fix the issue. I’m going to look for smaller pieces and use different dice.

I saw this game at a friend’s house and had to have it! The board is regulation size and floats even with people jumping into the pool! The magnetic pieces are strong enough bough to stay in place but easy to move. I’ve been looking for a game to play in the pool and this was perfect!

Commandé comme cadeau à Noël dernier. Utilisé pour la première fois il y a quelques jours (saison d'été oblige). Il prend l'eau dès la première utilisation.. Je suis d'accord aussi avec les autres commentaires, les pieces fournies sont trop grosses pour le plateau de backgammon. Passez votre chemin surtout pour le prix
