Used this to tune up one pair of “used only once†3 year old skis and one pair of well used, rusty and gnarled 4 year old kids skis. Works great, but requires ample patience and decent technique at holding the stone straight.

Pros:QaulityGritCons:Diamond does cover edge to edge. So in the case of some skis where the side wall is heavy it hard to really just hit the edge of the ski.

This is a 70mm file, and it fits into my FKTools Multi Tuner. I set the side edge angle on my tune, and just wet file the edge until smooth. Just the right amount of abrasion for removing gnarly burrs/hardening - which a standard file or gummi stone can't remove.Durability might be questionable, the actual "file" seems paper thin so I don't know how it'll hold up.

Buy that 5 dollar knock off, cause this is of even lesser quality.It's amazing this could be messed up, but it is! The two pieces were put together wrong, so the hole is blocked by the diamond file.
