I have not had a chance to use every single part of the kit, but it is a very good starting kit for waxing, edge work, and small repairs. It would be nice if it included a small rasp, and certainly at this price point, none of the items are top of the line, but I have used it 6 times without fault. I will probably replace pieces with higher quality items as they break, but I am glad I have this to start with. They also feel high enough quality that I expect most items will last a few seasons (except the wax, but that's supposed to get used up).

In a set, there is everything you need to wax your board and sharpen your edges. Iron is easy to use and it heats up quickly.In a set there are also sticks to fix dents, but I haven’t used those yet

I've skied for 3 seasons (~30 days) on my skis without a wax (or a service of any kind), so a service was badly needed before my upcoming trip. Ski shop near me wanted $75 to fill in a gouge on my ski, wax, and sharpen the edges. That seemed a bit high priced considering I generally enjoy doing this sort of thing, so I purchased this kit knowing I could use it to service my skis whenever I felt like it. Overall I am happy with my purchase.The good:- The iron did a great job. Turning it to the temperature setting described on the wax gave the wax a quick melt with zero burning. Usually calibration on stuff like this is a total crapshoot, so this was a pleasant surprise.- The kit was complete, I didn't have to use a single item from my toolbox besides a heat gun to warm up the ski I used the PTEX repair plastic on.- One ski managed to go over a sharp rock leaving a deep and long scratch in it, not quite a core shot but close. The PTEX included in this kit worked flawlessly. You can still see where I dripped the PTEX into the crack even after scraping, filing, and sanding, but running your fingers over it, you couldn't tell it was there. And this kit was complete enough I did the PTEX repair with only the provided tools (plus the aforementioned heat gun)- Brushes are decent enough, nice having the three to choose from. Don't know what the brass brush is for, but brushing with the nylon followed by the horsehair left a great finish on my skis after waxing.The (sort of) bad:- The kit only includes very cold wax, which is an odd choice. The mountain on my trip is going to be in the 30's so the wax will be a bit too soft and wear out quickly - I'll need to order a different block of wax to use for any spring skiing I do. Not a big deal, but worth knowing if you thought this kit, even the Pro version that I ordered, would be complete.- No heavy duty rubber bands included, where other kits at this price point include them. Not a big deal, as I just used hair ties, but having some thick rubber bands would be a nice addition to this kit.- One of the brushes had quite a bit of splinters on the top. Some better QC would be appreciated for those, as I had to pick them out and sand the edges down. Glad I caught it before I started using it.

Good kit with all the basics for ski tuning and waxing. The instructions weren’t great but there are plenty of YouTube videos out there. I have never done it before and have had no issues. My only minor gripe is that there are no rubber bands for holding the brakes out of the way. I bought a bag of thick office supply rubber bands for $5 and they do the job perfectly.

waxed a pair of skis and performed 4-5 snowboard waxes with the kit. I am new to waxing, so this seems like a great starter kit if you don't have supplies already

This kit comes with everything you need to do a quick long lasting wax job on skis and snowboards. It comes with a universal temp wax that flows out very well. The bar of wax will do roughly 4-5 snowboards and 5-6 sets of skis. Great kit at a great price.

The wax in this kit melts smooth and consistently. It spreads well, scrapes well, and brushes well. With this kit and a 5 minute youtube video you're ready to wax your board yourself for the first time. I will also say that I was skeptical at first but I *definitely* felt the change in my board after waxing. There's a particular spot near a lift where I used to have to shuffle my hips to get the rental board (rarely waxed) moving - after waxing my board with this kit and going to the same spot I could almost hear my board saying, "must go FAST" and off we went. If you've been renting and are preparing to wax your own board, prepare for a big change! :)

Received this unit clearly used. The plastic and metal scraper had wax and ptex all over it, the brushes were used, the wax stick was a quarter used, one of the ptex sticks was clearly used. I ended up returning. I am a little gun shy now on ordering another one of these kits

Je viens de tester l ensemble sur mon snowboard et 1 paire de ski. Très facile en regardant des tuto sur youtube. Produit de très bonne qualité. Pour ma famille de 3 skieurs et un snowboardeur, l ensemble est déjà rentabilisé car moins cher que chez Décathlon. Top ðŸ‘

Prijs kwaliteit verhouding is goed. Als je op zoek bent naar een instapset on je snowboard of ski’s te onderhouden, is dit de set die het meest compleet is. Ik heb hier al 2 snowboards mee onderhouden en ze zien er bijna weer als nieuw uit aan de onderkant. De wax gaat zo’n 6 x onderhoud mee als je de zuinige methode (crayon) aanhoudt. En met elke onderhoudsbeurt ben je fysiek ongeveer een uurtje bezig. Het is zelfs leuk om je eigen materiaal te onderhouden op deze manier. De gebruiksaanwijzing is minimaal, maar zoek een video en je hebt genoeg uitleg met diverse methodes.Slijpen van je snowboard of ski kan je zelf met de meegeleverde set. Verschillende hoeken om te slijpen zijn mogelijk. Van 86 tot 89 graden. Dus van freestylers tot carvers.Aanrader. Oud laken onder je werkplek leggen want de wax valt overal.
