These are moving into old school but you can expect at least two years out of them. Typical high pressure sodium with the golden light but a lot of light for 70 watts. I use a little electrical grease on the base to allow for easy removal after two or three years out in the weather.

I have these for security lighting on my property and like the HPS much better than today's LED lighting and coloration.

First bulb I installed in my security light lasted 2 hours and after that all that was visible was a super dim blue/white light coming from the white rod inside the light. The first bulb also seemed dim right from the start. I replaced that bulb with the second bulb and it has now been working for 6 hours. I was skeptical about these bulbs for the price and that there is no UPC code on either box.

The bulb is long lasting. My previous one lasted about 4 years. It was rather pricey but I am satisfied with my purchase. I would recommend that the bulb be shipped in a cardboard box rather than a plastic envelope.
